Third purchase of the particular fan-one I purchased 11 years ago still works
This is my third purchase of this particular fan. I purchased 2 of these fans 11 years ago, and one of them is still working.

Should be sold not as used mint condition but missing parts condition
Maybe the fan is good but it came with missed parts and VERY visible signes of use

Remote not included
It is expensive. I subsequently bought two other ceiling fans; both work better and came with remote. For the price I paid,I was surprised that the remote is not included and that this was an extra to be paid for !!!

Gorgeous, but led module only
A bit surprised there was no upright and the only light source was a led module, no bulbs. I called MikaAire with my concerns and was told the replacement module is available at HomeDepot or to be ordered direct from the company. Ours worked fine out of the box, but not as bright as our other MikaAire ceiling fans. This is a gorgeous fan for our master suite. 20W LED light kit #6F715DLSTWLK01 module

Stops for no reason
We bought this because it was a beautiful fan. But it keeps turning off unexpectedly and isn’t working correctly. Not what you would expect for what we paid. I would look elsewhere, buyer beware!!!

Almost a great fan
Two of the five blade holders (component that attaches to the blades and then to the motor housing cause those blade tips to be 1/2” higher than the other three blades. This creates an unbalance situation that weight alone doesn’t fix. I re-checked the tightness of all the attach screws ensuring none were too loose or too tight. Other than that (which is unforgivable) this would be a great fan. But for $650, unacceptable!

Wonderful fixture, but
This is a great fixture, worthy of the cost and 5 stars. It is sturdy, well-constructed, silent or nearly so, and looks very nice. Just be aware that it comes with a wall-mounted control unit (I think it is wcs212) that has a very bright night light. We put the fixture in the bedroom and the night light seriously disrupts our sleep. If this is an issue for you, also order a remote control unit, rcs212. Then put a normal light switch on the wall and use the remote for the fan and dimmer. As it is, we have to pay the electrician to come again and change it, as none of us are handy with electrical stuff. I wish manufacturers would stop putting lights in all the switches - a waste of electricity and often not desired.
