Brilliant
Works great and gives different qind speeds ie, m/s kmh mph

It does what it's supposed to do.
I think it pretty accurate, though I some time feel that the constant wind speed does not reflect what my body feels.

Simple to use
Small enough to always have in the rucksack, reads the same as much more expensive equipment

Worth the money
I bought a previous one for £10 cheaper and it lasted only a year. This one is robust and has average wing setting. Perfect..

Will let you fly a kite or whatever in the correct wind speed.
It's pretty damn' accurate! I tried it as I walked in a flat calm and it recorded a definite wind speed....This little beauty will let you know if the wind will rip ypu off your board or tear your kite into pieces, or.... it will let you know if your beloved wake/foil board is just another floating chunk of whatever and your kite is just a pretty thing to look at as flops forlornly on the ground.Trust me on this.... my wife will kill me for saying that!... This is something that should be in every kite/foil/wake boards toolbox, and also, here's the rub, in every light aircraft pilot's toolbox as well. If you don't know just how strong (or light) the wind is, how safe are you?Happy flying!

Doesn't do what I wanted.
I am considering installing a small wind turbine at my property. I had a feasibility study done but it was difficult for the company to say for sure what wind speed I would get due to neighbouring properties/trees. Enter this anemometer to measure wind speeds at my property and send the data to my phone for analysis on averages etc. I chose it because it stated it could connect via bluetooth to an app and give regular data. The wind speed and temperature readings seem about accurate, but the device constantly powers off and disconnects from bluetooth even though I am well within 10 meters of the device. I have changed the settings in the app for it to not power off but it made no difference. In order to get average readings I am now forced to go to the anemometer and take a reading at the same time each day. It was actually meant to be attached to my chimney, obviously I can't climb the chimney every day so it's not really in the right place to get accurate measurements. I could have bought a much cheaper model if I knew I'd have to go and check it every day. Very frustrating.

Excellent anemometer
Bought this to assess wind strength when target shooting and so pleased I did. Gives accurate wind speed and temperature. So easy to use and batteries last ages. Brilliant piece of kit
