My granddaughter is big for her age she is 8 but size 10/11 fits her she is not fat but these shorts were tight at the top of her thighs I told my daughterinlaw just stretch them but after a wash they gave went back to being tight .

If sizes were true to age
Granddaughter is only 9 and a very small build so ordered 8-10. As soon as we opened the pack and took one out we could see that they were not going to fit only to be told on the website I couldn’t return them for a larger size
