One good, one won't hold charge after 2 months. Update: Vendor replaced faulty battery.
Well kind of 50-50. I can't get one of the batteries to charge past 25% (according to lights), and it discharges quickly. The other seems fine, although not the capacity of an OEM battery. If they both work they are a deal. Since I only have one, not such a good deal. Update: Well I am pleasantly surprised. The vendor quickly replaced the faulty battery. They initiated the replacement without me having to beg for it like so many other vendors. They clearly want to make the customer happy. They have my respect.

Breathing new life into my makita tools
These batteries are working great so far. They seem to have the indicated battery life, or at least close to it. Definitely better than my old 1.5ah batteries. My tools were feeling sluggish and weak, constantly charging batteries up. These make my tools feel like new. Perfect fit. Doesn’t fall off. No charging issues. Much more cost effective too.

Okay for the price.
I compared these to Makita's 4.0Ah batteries. I have a Makita edger, string trimmer and blower that each require two batteries. When I cut my lawn I edge, trim and then blow everything down when I'm done. I have a lot of sidewalk and curbing to blow down. The Makita batteries have a slight edge and are drained just before finishing the blowing. These batteries drain a little sooner. But the replacement coast of Makita batteries are not worth it.

Cheap Knockoff Performance
These might fit Makita tools, but they don’t perform like real batteries. Power drops off quickly and they don’t seem to hold a charge nearly as long as advertised. Build quality feels cheap too. The casing and connections don’t inspire much confidence, and I wouldn’t trust these for anything important. You’re better off paying more for the real thing than dealing with inconsistent performance.

Have a long run time on saws and yard blowers
For the price I find these to be a very cost effective way to by batteries for my tools. These last longer than my 3 amp batteries as they should. This is a good deal on a aftermarket battery

You get what you pay for.
Cheap and work fine for low current applications. These work fine in my Makita drills, but not in my Makita leaf blower. I am glad to have them. But know that they are certainly not the equivalent of the real thing.
