Fullstar Salad Spinner Set with Mandoline, Spiralizer and 6 interchangeable Stainless Steel Blades

I eat lots of veggies, especially salads so a salad spinner is a must! I liked the extra features this one had. It's nice I can spin greens and chop veggies on top and serve all in same bowl. Can't speak about longevity but I hope it last!

This is the most fun thing I've purchased in a long time! When I bought it, I thought to myself that I didn't need the mandoline and all that other stuff. I just wanted the salad spinner. But, the price was right in comparison to whatever was out there. The reviews seemed to support it's quality. It's funny, but when I look at a product that has 4-5 star ratings, I always look for the 1-2 start ratings and read them first. I may never get to the 4-5 start ratings. Anyway, I thought I'd take a chance with this salad spinner as I seem to go through them quickly.Well, I must say, as soon as I got it, I had to spin lettuce. It worked beautifully. I found that the construction was sturdy. The design seemed well-thought out. There is a locking lid for the spinner basket. I love that. The handle for the top of the spinner basket seems sturdy and secure. There is a little lock that holds the extended handle out, and it must be released in order to tuck the handle back into its little slot for storage. I really think that's a nice feature. It spins the lettuce to my satisfaction.Then, I thought I'd try the mandoline. Just a heads-up. These blades are really, really sharp. Even the attachment that cuts little squares. That is the one that comes fitted in the extra lid that comes with the spinner just for the mandoline attachments. Having this extra lid for the mandoline attachments is brilliant. I just didn't expect that because I apparently didn't read the ad closely enough. Well, I just love, love, love cutting up pieces of potato and onions now. Soooo easy. Makes me wish I had a bigger family so I could use it more. I did try the attachment to make spirals of zucchini. It seemed to work okay. I haven't had a chance to use the other mandoline attachments as yet. I've had this spinner/mandoline for a couple of weeks now.I am looking forward to using this product for a long time. It seems like it will hold up well to my use. I'm happy to have purchased it and have it now.

I bought this one based on reviews and features. I wanted a spiralizer and a salad spinner but wanted to save space. The salad spinner is fine, but the handle is short, so it takes more energy to spin than I would like to spin.The mandolin and chopping blades are very sharp and cut well. They did a good job of cutting my fingers too! So be very careful. What's nice is I can dry my lettuce and the add sliced & chopped veggies on top.. I can store the salad already made, in my fridge and take what I need when I need it.I was not able to get good spiralized vegetables, so I was very disappointed with that feature.All the reviews I read were done in December and were very good. I'm wondering if they were real reviews because I don't think it's as good as they all say.

Well, I've been trying to get excited about this thing for weeks now, and still have not had success. I haven't even actually tried to chop/dice/slice anything because I can't figure out how everything is supposed to work. Of course I procrastinated until it's too late to return it, so I'm stuck trying to figure it out on my own or giving it away to a smarter person. A better instruction book, with diagrams or photos, sure would be nice. Maybe there was supposed to be something more in the box, besides the little 4 page leaflet that I received? There are pictures on the box that sort of explain things, but not sufficiently. For instance - the hinged flap on the lid - it seems to be in the way if you were to be slicing something. It just stays open, sticking up, in the way? For the spiralizer attachments - do you just push and twist the zucchini (or whatever) down through that thing with good old fashioned elbow grease? Silly me had the impression that the spinning function would somehow be involved, thus saving my tendinitis prone elbows. The spinning function is only for spinning your salad, it seems. Or maybe I'm missing something? I only found one video on youtube, and it's a guy simply unpacking all the parts and talking about how healthy he is going to be once he starts using the thing. LOL! Absolutely no help at all. I'm just completely frustrated at this point.

Really like the spinner but some simple modifications / upgrades would've made it better. Instructions are lousy, fortunately much of the 'assembly' is intuitive. Could use a better (larger plated) grater and a thinner slicer. But overall, it does what I really wanted which was to allow me to make a complete salad into the spinner, spin it all and then bag it. Oh yeah, I probably would have chosen another product if I'd seen 'not dishwasher safe'. Why not?? It's plastic and metal. That was disappointing but washing it is pretty easy and the functionality of it makes up some for the no dishwasher problem. Thanks

This product is very good, but I have some comments in order to improve the product.1. It needs more tools: Garlic cutter, Potato peeler, among others.2. It can improve the Vegetable Spiralize, it doesn't finish the veggies.3. The food holder doesn't work very well, it makes difficult the work and if you don't use it it can be dangerous.In the other hand, you can use it like Vegetable Keeper, it can be in the refrigerator without problems. I know that it isn't perfect, but I'm very happy with the product.

4 Stars because this is about what I expected.First off, the design for this thing is decent, it works as advertised.My only real criticism is the quality of materials, the plastic material of the bowl isn't the greatest and the stainless blades for the chopper are a bit flimsy. This product likely will not last for more than a year with near-daily use, but I'm also not willing to knock off anymore stars because this is what you'd come to expect for a product at this price point.

Das ist ein solides Set. Mir persönlich ist das zusammen setzen aber schon fast wieder zu viel. Ich werde das Set sicher in Zukunft nutzen um Paprika zu würfeln. Im Übrigen habe ich es im Keller stehn, da es nicht so häufig genutzt wird. Ich esse aber lieber, als ich selber koche.

Für Salat-Fans, die oft und gerne Salat zubereiten ist diese Set wirklich empfehlenswert!Ich hatte vorher schon verschiedene, separate Schneidegeräte für Gemüse. Diese habe ich aber nie benutzt, da mir das zu aufwendig war und ich dann doch lieber zu Messer und Brett gegriffen habe. Hier bei dieser Multifunktions-Salatschleuder hat man alles zusammen, man kann die Utensilien auch direkt in der Schüssel lagern und so macht das Salat-Machen wirklich Spaß. Das Design ist schick in schwarz-weiß und mit dem beiliegenden "Julienne-Schneider" kann man dazu noch Zucchini-Spaghetti herstellen. Toll!

Nach dem ich diesen Artikel in April 2017 gekauft habe, waren wir Anfangs sehr begeister darüber. Aber leider muss ich ab den heutigen Tag sagen das ich mehr als Enttäuscht bin. Es kann doch nicht sein Fullstar nach nur 2 Monate ist die Klinge beim Chopping Blade (Würfler) angebrochen ! So das jederzeit ein Stück Metallklinge in das Essen bzw. Salat fallen kann. Leider muss ich den ganzen Artikel zurücksenden da es keine Ersatzteile gibt. Vielleicht hat ja jemand von den Käufern das gleiche Problem gehabt.Muss jetzt nach einer anderen Alternative ausschau halten :-(

Leider habe ich vor dem Kauf nicht wirklich darüber nachgedacht, aber das Teil ist riesig. Perfekt für die zweite Küche in der Villa, dort wo man noch sehr viel Stauraum zur Verfügung hat.Sonst bin ich auch nicht sonderlich von dem Ding angetan. Ich hatte die naive Vorstellung, dass es super schnell und super einfach geht. Und dann ist man aufgewacht und Realität war ... zumindest einmal schneidet man sich an so etwas... gehört auch dazu ...Also wieder zurück zum simplen, aber guten, Messer. Geht auch nicht langsamer und nimmt wesentlich weniger Platz weg.

Das Produkt verspricht mehr, als es hält. Ich habe alle Funktionen ausprobiert und nur die Salatschleuder funktioniert erwartungsgemäß, wobei das Handling insgesamt umständlich ist.
