A Skipping Day (Disney Junior: Jake and the Neverland Pirates) (Little Golden Book) Hardcover – Picture Book, August 7, 2012

Jake and the Neverland Pirates is not a series just for Boys. Both of my girls (ages 3 and 5) love it. They run around the house pretending to be pirate princesses and all the other characters all the time. They also love all the toys.This book is great, and true to the TV Series. Bumbling Captain Hook can't wait to steal Jake and Crew's treasure... a jump rope in this case. He, of course, gets himself all tangled in it and has to be rescued by Jake and his Crew. They end up teaching Captain Hook how to jump rope properly and they all have fun together in the end. A very Disney Junior type of story with a happy ending and a message of helping each other. Great artwork, a fun story for little ones and a great reading book for the young readers out there. Highly recommended.

My daughter loves Jake and loves this book. This is my first little golden book. I bought it because my son has been tearing up all the other books DD has and I figured that this is cheap enough not to upset me too much. I must say, I am impressed. it has vivid pictures and a good message about sharing and helping others. The story length is just long enough for a toddler and we read it every night. It has held up well.

My 3-year-old loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates. This book was a great stocking stuffer for Christmas. The book has a good message. The story is about sharing and being the bigger person when someone has be inappropriate it you.

Who can give a bad review on Jake and the never land pirates. My son is 21 months and we read this book over and over. The pictures are vibrant and capture his attention. The story is easy to follow.

The spine on my book was glued improperly so it is hard to keep the book open when reading it. However, the story is cute and my 2.5 year old loves Jake so for the $3 price tag, it is worth it to me.

Every little boy has some pirate loving days in their play adventures. This was a gift for a little boy along with a Jake ornament for his tree. He wanted to hear the story again and again. It also encourages learning to be friends with the enemy, Captain Hook.

My mum ordered this as part of a Christmas gift for my three year old nephew. He loves everything Jake and the Never land Pirates, and this was no exception. He was thrilled when he opened it, and wanted to have rest time right away to read his new books!
