SheaMoisture Restorative Conditioner for Dry, Damaged Hair Raw Shea Butter Silicone Free Conditioner for Curly Hair 13 oz

I've been using Shea Moisture products for over six years, but I used to go to my local stores to buy this conditioner. However, I didn't like the packaging because the pump makes it harder to get the remaining product in the container. So when I saw that Amazon had the Restorative conditioner in a squeeze bottle that gives you more ounces than you get from the normal ones from the 'drug store', I ordered it immediately. It hasn't disappointed! I wear my hair naturally, and only use two products in my hair to set it - this conditioner as my leave-in and this apricot oil, NOW Foods Apricot Kernel Oil (Liquid), 16 oz.The conditioner works well enough that I'm able to finger-comb my hair to detangle it - I don't use any combs or brushes - so e.g. it has pretty good slip, though I've use some conditioner that had better like KC Knot Today. However, I prefer the texture of this product. As I've said, I only use the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner and apricot oil in my hair because it works best for my hair since my curls look great for as much as a week after setting - without any crunch. *I do set my hair with chunky twist - using the twist to stretch my hair, while keeping my already defined curls in place while it dries, not to define my curls because as soon as I put the conditioner in my hair, my curls pop.One more not of reference, I've bleached and use semi-permanent colors on it because it's fun, so my hair needs that bit of extra love and care that this conditioner gives. Also, I'm prone to getting dandruff - not dry scalp, that's different - especially if I use products in my hair that are too heavy because my scalp is sensitive and produce oil. However, my hair can get dry-ish, which is why I need a product that can seal moisture into my strands, yet not build up on my scalp - this does the trick perfectly. Put simply, I love it. & I'm going to stick with ordering it from this store since their price is phenomenal, and you receive it within days!

I have 2C/3A Caucasian curls and waves. I manage my hair easily but went for a hair cut and the person cut a zillion layers into my fine curls. It is a nightmare growing out. Looking for help (the layers are so thin that my hair is breaking) I tried this along with the shampoo and detangle leave-in and I noticed a difference right away. Softer, moisturized and the curl is returning (my hair is like a frizz-ball). I do not use too much as my hair gets weighed down easily. Everyone needs to experiment and see how much to use according to your hair type (that goes for just about any product). I also find it very compatible with my PH--there is no residue on my scalp and no scalp odor--even after several days! Very impressed. Will try other Shea Moisture products and I do recommend this one.

I use it daily instead of shampoo. If I use shampoo and then the conditioner, it's OK, and it should be done on a regular basis. But I use this daily on its own to keep my hair moisturized. I couldn't comb it at all if I didn't.

I've tried so many conditioners. From cheap stuff like white rain, suave, and vo5. Typical drugstore favorites like herbal essences, pantene, and dove. And even high end stuff like briogeo and deva curl. THIS IS THE BEST CONDITIONER I HAVE EVER USED. It melts my tangles, softens my hair, makes it shiny, moisturized. I LOVE IT. I just wish it had less of an earthy smell.

I'm loving these products that I've recently found - and love that they are also kind to animals. I have long red hair that is mostly frizzy - only with a lot of effort will it go into ringlets that hold for a couple of days after the wash. I like my hair shorter - but it's just too hard to control; at least when I keep it long I can tie it up on bad days. I've been on a life long search for a great hair care product.I've used the Shea Moisture combo of this Shampoo, the Restorative Conditioner (I do the 3-15 mins after the shampoo, then add a small amount to leave in after my cold water rinse), and then I divide my hair into about 10 segments and apply the Cocoanut and Hibiscus Mousse (I only need 2 pumps to each segment, and twirl my segments around my finger) - wrap in a hair dry towel for half an hour and don't touch it!It's hanging in even the next day, and isn't wild and crazy even on the third day. Thank you Shea Moisture! I'm now thinking I could get my hair cut. Woo Hoo!

This is my favorite hair care product brand. Never fails. Smells great and arrived in nice packaging. No spilling.
