Hitachi DS18DVF3 18 Volt 1/2 inch Drill (bare tool - no battery, charger or case)

My drill, poor thing, was dropped by me (old lady) so many times that it finally ended up with a cracked shell. I could use it if I wiggled the whole thing just right, but next time I picked it up I'd have to wiggle it again for a few seconds to find that right spot. I grieved the loss of my drill because I use it alot. I've used it to remodel my own house, for various tasks, such as redoing the layout of my kitchen cabinets.My charger and two batteries were still very good, so I ordered a replacement for just the drill part. I was amazed! This little baby works better than the original. Very happy that I can now continue to get myself into home repair challenges that make me smile when I'm done. Love this drill. And the price was great, from Amazon.

Broke a drive gear on the drill I bought several years ago - drilling through 6" thick oak with 5/8" bit. But still had two good lithium battery packs. This drill fits the packs just fine, and seems somewhat upgraded from my old drill.

Had my original version of this for quite a few years, 4-5 I believe. Clutch started slipping and decided this was perfect. Very happy so far. Weird that it came in a zip lock bag with owner's manual and that was it! Works just fine.

I have used the Hitachi for years and for me it is the only drill driver in my tool box batteries recharge and last last lastI have had the same batteries for over 3 years

This is a first rate drill. I like the precise variable speed and surplus power of the unit. I also have the Hitachi impact wrench and I've always been impressed with that, as well.

This drill replaces another Hitachi I had for years. While the original still works fine, it is getting a little loose around the chuck. An outstanding drill from Hitachi!

Perfect compliment for my Hitachi Impact Driver. Already had two Li-ion 3.0 ah batteries so this was perfect. Works great and 1/2" capacity. I made a good choice.

Whats not to like? Got my original drill stolen, this and spare battery from AMAZON WAREHOUSE for about a hundred bucks, cant beat it.
