It’s good quality and definitely not a costume. The fabric is nice and much thicker than I was expecting. Definitely get a size larger than normal though. I typically am a size L or XL but I saw the reviews and Amazon recommended XXL so I went with that. And yea perfect size not too big not too tight. Very much worth the money and great for both normal wear or cosplay.

Bought this for my daughter whom is 14 and wears a medium normally. Bought her the XL and it fits her quite nicely with just a little extra room. So, I’d size up at least one to two sizes. Your mileage may vary

I bought this knowing I would have to make alterations, but did not expect it to be as small as it was. I normally wear a 2xl but this one is definitely sized smaller. I wish it would've given a bigger size option, but it didn't. Beware if you're ordering these vests. You need a size or two up or plan to alter it.On bright side, it is decent quality for cosplay.

This is a real sweater not a costume. It is made of thick quality material and you can wear it with any dress clothes not just a Harry Potter Cosplay outfit.

I ordered this for my 10 year old. She is very slim and her measurements made no sense to the size chart. I would have been ordering the smallest size available in this vest if I followed the chart. After reading some reviews I decided to order an extra small and I am so thankful I did.It is a little big on her, but should be comfortable with a shirt underneath. For reference she is 5ft tall and 70lbs.

Bought the vest and sewed the gryffindor and slytherin patches on by hand (patches were also purchased on Amazon). Received a lot of compliments! Vests were thick and nice quality
