Nice light
I've only tried this light out a few times and so far I really like it. I only wish they'd leave out some of the extras. I don't need all the brightness modes. But that's nitpicking. Flashlights have their use but a headlight is so much more convenient. I bought this one for the convenience to use both 18650 and cr123 both single use and rechargeable. It's an expensive light for what it is so I hope it's reliable for many years, but as you know a lot of companies are out for the buck, and have lousy customer service. Let's hope I don't have to jump through the hoops for help in the future.Good luck.

THIS IS THE HEADLAMP YOU WANT!
After months of trying every headlamp out there - Including the hc 65 and hc 68 from Nitecore - I have determined that this one ROCKS! I hike in the woods next to my house every night and have become a total flashlight weenie! This light is the best combination of everything! Simple, comfortable, BRIGHT, long burn time and quick charging. It stays on turbo at a wicked high lumen count (not sure of an exact number....but it is bright as hell!) for a long time until it imperceptibly steps down to high. But you don't even notice until you run through the levels to test. I am super happy and have found the perfect headlamp! I'm not sure it would be great for trail running as it is slightly heavy/bulky on the head and would probably bounce and be annoying. Another bonus.....It is easily removed from the headband and I have attached it to my bike helmet with just one velcro strap. Makes a great headlamp for riding too! With beacon!Tom

Not Bad At All
This is a great headlamp for the most minimal, basic of illumination with its relatively low lumen candlepower. It offers different levels of illumination and features two strobing options that’s sure to capture attention in an emergency situation. My only complaint aside from the low power light capability is the terribly poor battery life. There are five levels of brightness and the highest setting, which provides the most light, always drained the battery after using it for a few minutes just one time. I used mine for several years to light my path when walking my senior greyhound and the Surefire CR123A batteries would often be depleted after just a few uses. The light itself was okay and the battery life is terrible, but this headlamp works reliably nonetheless. I recommend this headlamp if you don’t anticipate needing much light or will use it very often.

Best headlamp, hands down.
This is by far the brightest headlamp I've ever seen. I wouldn't even consider buying another brand.

Simply the best
This is the brightest Headlamp I've ever tried. I have a 1000 lumen Nitecore and this one is even better. Love it!
