I ordered these headphones to replace my now defunct Photive wireless headphones. These are a marked improvement over them.One thing that I was worried about with these headphones was if sound leaked out of them while listening in a quiet environment. I have used these in quiet rooms as well as while sharing a bed with my SO and they do not seem to leak at all. I opted for the wireless model without ANC (active noise cancelling) as I read that a lot of sets that use ANC have a diminished sound quality and seem to emit a high pitched whine when in use. This set does an excellent job of ambient noise cancellation just based on the mass of the headphones themselves. The padding is quite soft and plush and I can even use them while laying on my side without feeling like the earcup is digging into my head. The fit of the set is great and they cover my ears completely, creating a nice closed environment of sound. I recently used these on an airplane flight and even just in having them on without music playing they really helped to block out the low drone of the air and plane noise. I like that I don't have to turn my volume up to louder than reasonable volumes to hear my music, the isolation works well enough with the padding that I can keep my music and nice levels and still hear it because the background noise is blocked out.The actual build quality of this set is quite nice. The main band has a plush padding around the entire top portion that helps keep them comfortable while on your head whereas other sets seemed to give me a headache when wearing for an extended period of time. The adjustment band seems to be made of a highly springy metal that holds its shape after being flexed outward when taking the set on and off. The joint of the earcups to the main band is a swivel that lets each cup rotate 90-degrees so that they can lay flat and be stored in the included carrying case, also a nice addition!The packaging comes with the headphones, 1/8in cord for wired use (nice length and solid connectors), charging cable, and the zippered case. The accessories that come with the headphones themselves are all quite nice and the zippered case has a small velcro mesh bag that can be used to keep everything together when not charging and using the set wirelessly.So far I have been using the headphones as a wired set almost exclusively and I have greatly enjoyed the sound quality. I listen to everything from Aphex Twin to Vince Staples to Vivaldi's Lute Concertos and they all sound absolutely amazing. I am a professional musician and I really don't have any qualms about the sound on these headphones. I think that the bass comes through without being muddy, as long as the mix itself is good; and the mids are nice and crisp. High frequencies have always been a bother to me and this set sounds nice and warm, not sterile at all.I have connected with the bluetooth feature once before and I didn't have any issues with it. It is quite a simple pairing process and the LEDs on the unit give just enough feedback to show you when it is searching or paired. As such I cannot yet comment on the battery life of the unit. It seemed to charge quickly enough with the supplied cable. I plan to use the wireless feature more as I return to school for ease of use.All together, this is an absolutely wonderful product especially considering its price and what all is included. If you are looking for comfortable headphones with a great sound quality and ease of use, these will definitely fit that bill. NOTE: I did NOT get these for free. This really is an ACTUAL opinion from someone who spent their OWN money to get these. I just hope to help others find a good product. :)

I am giving these headphones five stars because I believe that for the price, these are a great value. I have a very limited budget due to going back to school and not working. I was looking for some headphones which would give me all ranges. Low, mids and highs. For the most part they do the job very well. I use an Apple PowerBook and I created my own equalizer setting in iTunes. I was surprised how different the presets changed the sound. I had my best results with Dance, Electronic and Jazz. Everyone's listening style will be different, but these were the best settings for getting good bass, meds and highs for me. I also use Logic to create music as a hobby and I was very impressed with how the headphones performed.I was able to connect to bluetooth easily. I find the headphones comfortable and they do block outside noise well. I am in a Starbucks now with a lot of noise and cannot hear anything other than the music I am listening to.I did have one issue since purchase. A plastic piece at the end of the audio cable broke of at the end. Actually, the glue that holds it on the end stopped holding it. When I pulled the wire from my computer, it slipped of the cable. The is just where the wiring is exposed and goes out to the jack. I contacted customer service and they replied immediately. They are sending me out a new audio cable. My final, minor complaint though small is the fact that the headphone jack is on the right side. Perhaps this is to cater to Windows users. Not sure, but since the headphones are labeled for R and L ear use, I would not turn then around. I also tend to put my iPhone in my left pocket as well.With that said, I recommend these Naztech XJ-500 Headphones to anyone looking for above average, decent priced bluetooth headphonesMarch 15, 2017 Update!I just wanted to give a quick update on the status of how the company responded to my broken cable issue. Today, I went to my mail box and found a package. It was a replacement cable. Not just any replacement cable however. They really did me right with a superior upgraded cable. I don't want to send a photo, because I really am afraid that everyone will request the same one with their original order. The main point is that this company is trying to win business. They are serious and I appreciate it.I recommend them highly and I would surely buy from them again. No, no-one gave me anything for this opinion. It's mine. Sound is really good and pairing to devices with bluetooth is fairly easy. (I can even pair with my ipod which I love!) These are somewhat noise canceling, which I like in case someone is trying to get my attention. I use them mostly at work so I can keep listening while going back and forth between printer, computer and cutter. I also use them at home while wandering around cleaning. The range is not very big but if I'm listening from my ipod I slip it in my pocket and range isn't a problem. The only reason I have four stars instead of five is the volume is tricky. It's the same buttons as the skip and back buttons. If you don't hold down the button for a while it will skip to the next track. It's a little frustrating when all I wanted was to turn the volume up/down. Other than that these are a great first pair of bluetooth headphones!

These are great headphones if you specifically need to cancel a lot of background noise. They are comfy and ot too bassy like some people say but maybe they haveing worked out how to adjust their settings, once you do they are so clear!
