This lock is not something you would use to protect critical infrastructures or your million dollar stash. It is great so keeping the kids out of your yard or locker. The shackle is not very thick. I would imagine it could be cut easily with a bolt cutter or a angle grinder. Before I had this little lock on my yard gate, my dog had been let out of the yard many times by unknown individuals. Nothing was taken, so guess it was kids doing it. That problem is fixed ever since I put this lock on the gate. We tried using a regular lock before, but we kept losing the keys. With this lock, we don't need to find the keys ever again. The setup was very easy. I use the Android app "Smart Lock" to manage the users. It is very easy to use. The lock has been in the weather for over two months. It is still working fine, and still on the the initial charge. I have not had to charge the lock yet. The weather seal on the charge port came off once, but it was very easy to put back with a flat head screw driver. The finger print reader is fairly reliable, but definitely not 100%. It usually can unlock within two tries. The Bluetooth unlock works well too. That came in handy a few times. Overall, I am very happy with the lock for the purpose of keeping kids out of the yard.

Make sure to verify the size you need. I did not thoroughly look at the size information and unfortunately it is no going to work on my fence as I had hoped. However, the listing clearly indicated this was meant for use for a locker or backpack so that was my mistake. I think this will be great for a locker room since it’s so easy to just use your fingerprint. If you share a locker with someone, then you can easily program multiple finger prints. While the software isn’t perfect and the scanner isn’t very large, I find it hard to put my thumb so it is accurately read each time without basically registering multiple copies of my thumbprint. I appreciate that it came with a micro-USB cable for charging.You must know that you will need a phone or tablet with Bluetooth to be able to program and lock and unlock it when you are nearby. It is not wifi-enabled so unlocking from your phone means your phone must be near the lock to make a Bluetooth connection. The application has some annoyances like it would fail a third of the time when trying to save a new fingerprint and the password can’t apparently have special characters, but as long as you stick with alphanumeric characters and no spaces, you’ll be fine.Oddly enough, my lock came with a small bit of masking tape attached for no clear reason, but I was able to remove it easily. Also, the face of the lock around the scanner part has a clear protective film that you will need to scratch off to remove.

Love the fact I don’t need any keys or to remember a numeric number, just use your fingerprint!!

The lock is fairly nice to use,and gives me a pretty good sense of security.

Padlock is a little on the small side for what I wanted but works great

Fingerprint is quick to respond. Have programmed multiple finger prints with no issues. Great padlock for those who don't want to remember codes or have a key.!

It is the cutest lock, smaller than I expected but cute in the size it comes with.
