Quiet 140mm USB 5V Portable Cooling Fan for Flat Panel TV Receiver Router DVR PlayStation Xbox Computer Cabinet Cooler

Bought this because my AppleTV kept overheating in my boss in the wall. Strapped this to the top of it, and it's perfect! Silent and keeping my electronics cool so they do not overheat.

This review is for the 80mm fan which fits my heatsink perfectly. I purchased this because I wanted additional cooling for the computer I use the most that gets worked really hard. Even though the processor already has a cooling fan, the heatsink still gets really hot. I have no intention of replacing this computer anytime soon so I want it to last by helping it run cooler and this fan takes care of that problem. Some cooling fans have a separate power supply, but I like the fact that this one is powered by USB because by plugging it into one of the USB ports on the computer it can turn on and off automatically with the computer. It has rubber feet which help cushion and/or prevent any vibration noise, but can be removed if you don't want to use them. It has a 3-speed selector switch which allows me to set whatever speed I want depending upon how much cooling I need based upon the application that I'm running – which I weigh against the noise it makes. It is really quiet, practically imperceptible on Low. Medium speed can just barely be heard, and that is the speed I use most of the time. High speed can be heard, but it's not really loud or too annoying. I use High when I am running software that keeps my processor maxed out. It has ball bearings (instead of sleeve bearings) which are rated for 65,000 hours – which means long-term reliability. Overall this cooling fan does the job I bought it for of keeping the processor temp well under what it used to be. Here in the Summer of 2026 due to the high demand of computer chips caused by all of these Data Centers being built all around the world, the cost to replace equipment has gone up as much as 4 to 10 times higher than what it was 16 months ago. It’s insane. When you're looking to extend the life of a piece of expensive equipment, baby this is cheap insurance!

Quiet, moves air well, easy installation. Keeps setup cool and appearance fit the case well. So far reliable for the application.

I have a 2025 2.7L Bronco. The only method to fast charge a phone is with a 12v USB cigarette adapter, which can only be connected inside the armrest. I have an armrest tray that fits my phone but phones overheat fast and the phone protects itself by pausing the charge. Drilled holes in the tray underneath and around a wireless charging puck that is fast charge capable, screwed this 80mm fan on the bottom of the tray with the arrow (airflow direction indicator) pointed down, away from the phone. The fan speed control is very helpful. Keeps the armrest interior noticeably cooler and my phones don’t over heat anymore. Small caveat, I had to buy a 12v adapter that fast chargers two devices independently. They do exist. Hint (Belkin or Anker) The fan quiet on the highest level and I never hear it. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect size for my MT48, the device runs pretty hot and the internal fan keeps it around 40-42c, this keeps it in the low 30s, 31c on the Low setting. Had no issues with it moving from where i put it (beside my interface). Noise on the Low setting is pretty quite considering room noise.

This little USB fan has a couple of features that make it a bit nicer than some fans you can pick up for half the price: The soft rubber-like feet keep it stable and reduce vibration, and there's a speed switch that let's you adjust the fan speed if you want a low speed that's nearly silent. I put this in a cabinet full of electronics that was consistently in the 86°-88° range. Now it looks like the temperature in there has dropped to the 82°-84° range. I don't know if that difference matters, but the fan is doing its job, and it's quiet.

Nice little USB fan with integrated switch. I used it for a desk fan, not gonna move a ton of air, but it keeps air flowing and it’s decently quiet.

Noise level is QUIET with PERFECT Cooling for airflow in my mini Alocasia plant greenhouse. I bought the smallest size which fit perfectly in my Akerbar. I love the square appearance along with the rubber bottom that makes it easily adjustable to my greenhouse and thick plastic that makes me think it’s reliable for my greenhouse as well.

I have a Mac Mini that overheats up to 106 degrees Celsius. I installed this fan under the computer and it immediately dropped the temperature by 17 degrees It was so quiet I thought it wasn’t working

Excellente qualité faible bruit et bon contrôle Installer derrière le dock, de ma Nintendo Switch 2 qui fait 100 fois plus le travail, de tout les gadgets que j'ai tester pour un minimum de bruit avec une super fiabilité un très bon rendement de refroidissement (pas juste un gadgets) N'est pas brancher au Dock, mais sur sortie USB d'une multiprises, protégé et fonctionne du tonnerre

Yo tengo un mini pc de cuadro y se calentaba y pensé ponerle este ventilador al lado y resolvió el problema de circulación del aire trae 3 niveles con el nivel bajo fue suficiente y es silencioso

Lo compré para mi series x funciona al 100 extrae el aire muy bien no es tan fuerte el aire pero es silencioso y gira lo normal para que no se acumule el calor y si se siente mucho más fresca la consola, recomiendo compren el de 140mm por que abarca toda la parte de arriba y extrae muy bien el calor
