Great set.
Monkie kid is the most underrated. Very fun set and good value. Good build and would recommend. Easy to build but not boring or dull.

My husband gets Lego set from me every Christmas and this was our first from the Monkie Kid line. Love the concept and all the tiny little details that make this set super fun.

My kids are loving this Lego Set!
Lego Kits are just as they are, Lego kits. I found this kit to be quiet fun to build! My children seemed to want to just free build off of what I built and play with the characters. I found that every Llego is well made, a bright solid color and the characters are amazing with the amount of detail and thought that went into them!My kids watched this series and move on Prime and this set was so fun to build. From the design to colors and design - it is fresh and the style is amazing! With just 832 pieces this Amazing Monkie Kid: Pigsy’s Food Truck 80009 Building Kit. The instructions are easy to follow and my six and eight year olds were actually able to follow most of the instructions with minimal help - mostly they just needed help pushing down some of the tighter legs to snap on. Both of my children were so happy when they completed their step.Overall this is an awesome lego set that will leave you feeling quiet accomplished after you get it put together. The App Instructions are great to use as well - just in case you lose your paper book instructions.Everything is so creative and thoughtful in regards to how things are built and designed!!!

Pig complete with chefs hat
This food truck was an easy build for my grandson. Everything fit perfectly and the truck works seamlessly. It’s a chunkier truck and one that’s sturdy. The sides of the food track fold upwards so that you can actually see in the truck. Inside there are the stoves, a check out, grill and much more. There are even condiments and chefs knives included in the food truck kitchen. The side wings that open are smooth operating. They are also hinged well and can be repeatedly used without loosening. A mini figure or two can fit inside too.On the top of the truck there is a large pink pig complete with a chefs hat. The big pig is by far my favorite feature . He can spin all around and even move his little ears. He of course has projectiles which are optional to use or just display. But it gives a builder the option to “play”.The vehicle is quite large and has attractive attention to detail. There are quite a few stickers on the outside for the food truck decoration. It’s a fun, playable set with plenty of options including the mini figs and accessories. It’s a unique build and different than other ones my grandson has built. He has enjoyed the Monkie Kid theme.

Fun Food Truck Transforms Into A Secret Mobile Unit
Our six year old twins like this particular Monkie Kid set—there are lots of features/accessories, and the food truck is a fairly large size in comparison to other Lego vehicles. As with all sets, instructions are straightforward enough for kids of recommended age, but around here building turns into a family affair—adults and older siblings like to pitch in too. Our kids especially like the figures that come with this set—Pigsy, Monkie Kid, a hungry bystander and two demon bull clones complete with their own motorcycles. The highlight of the set, however, is the food truck itself, or what looks like a food truck at first glance. Pieces can be transformed into a secret mobile unit—the hot food grille turns into a covert console of some sort, another comes down off the truck’s roof, and the food freezer hides weapons. The truck’s hood opens up to show a cooking grille, figures can sit inside the truck’s cab, and the turret pig on top actually shoots weapons. This set has been a fun toy that utilizes thinking/building skills and afterwards provides lots of creative play—the twins have fun taking turns being the good/bad guys.

A great set!
This was an excellent find! My 8 daughter & 11yo son were beyond thrilled the moment I pulled this from the Amazon box. They begged to build it right away; and so they did! They worked very nicely together and had an absolute blast. They didn't even ask for help once (or fight, lol). And this set kept them busy for the better part of an afternoon. This set is a good choice for either boys or girls. Had they done this by themselves, I suspect my 8yo would have needed a little bit of assistance and/or a few breaks to complete this set by herself. It's a tough call because I suspect a more experienced 8yo builder would not. My 11yo could have put this set together independently. Also, it's simply fun and one of those Lego sets that looks even neater in person. And bigger put together, than it does pictured! We're really happy to have found this . It was a really fun build and a great addition to our evolving Lego collection.

Here piggy Piggy Piggy
heh, what can I say about this set. It looks fun, well detailed and something to check it out and to have some with for sure. Nice features and the characters are spot on neat and such. So if anybody is a Lego monkie Kid fan, be sure to add this to your collection. And it will teach us now to mess with a Pig who loves to cook ^^
