DUSPRO 4in1 Orchid Potting Mix For Repotting, Pre-Mixed & Ready to Use, 2QT

It arrived in good shape. Packaging was intact and no damage to the product. You definitely have to mix the contents before using it. I don't usually use orchid mixes with bark in them but I thought I would give it a try for some larger orchids that I purchased. I definitely like the mix and appreciate the larger size pumice and perlite. The only thing I don't like are the large bark pieces. That's just a personal dislike and not a reflection on the bark itself. I also like to support small businesses, wether they are in the United States or Vietnam (Duspro). They make a difference to small communities. Just know that this is a small package of dry ingredients and is much smaller than you think. I would definitely recommend this product for your orchids or any other epiphytes you may have.

So far this mix looks absolutely amazing! Dont let the small size full you. It's a Dry mix. Wet the moss for about 30 mins. Squeeze out the water then mix it up. It's super easy. Which with the moss it doesn't mix as well, but that's okay with me, you can mix it/layer it in the pot how you like. I repotted my Vanilla Bean Orchid that came in mail from its potted dirt to this and she looks like shes jumped right into in her own little jungle. Watered again after potting and it seems to have great drainage and moss stays moist. And texture seems great. Love the large pumice and perlight it's perfect with the moss and chips. Will update later in month or 2 if I see any developments. There is still plenty that I am highly confident it'll fill my other Vanilla Beans pot that's also 6in. I'll definitely be buying again Edit in. I bought more. Found some orchids on sale very pleased with each bag. Look like they jumped right into a forest of love

This mix is dusty and the moss is big clumps. I put it in a big bowl and covered it with water. Then I tore the moss clumps into smaller pieces and mixed it all together. I didn't leave it to soak long. I repotted a store bought orchid and set it in its new home. then I put the left over mix in a strainer and let it dry out again (a couple of days). I rebagged it and put in in storage.

Very nice packaging although the price may be a bit high. However the quality of the potting mixture is of top grade. I like it how it comes in zip lock plastic bag for storage when you have left overs. I will definitely buy from this seller again.

I bought this twice, the first time I was very satisfied with the blend and quality. So much so that when I went to repot another new orchid I repurchased. However the second time the blend had one extremely small clump (half of a golf ball) of forest moss, and mostly perlite and bark. Extremely disappointing and no way to contact the seller over the poor mix. I thought I had found the perfect mix but I guess I’ll have to keep looking.
