Big hair and blue tooth dongles
I really like these bluetooth headphones; despite my big thick hair they fit me quite snugly, which I would want them to be for the moving around I do. I tried them on my kids who like them as well; light, snug, comfy. No more fights over chewed wires, I expect.Paired effortlessly with my Apple products. Partial pairing with my Windows 7 computer, looks like I need to get a dongle for it to work properly. For those of you who don't get the whole dongle thing (I still don't completely), Amazon do offer a similar color headset from Arctic with a dongle for a bit more money. I've got it on order to use with the Windows machine. But what I'm seeing from the "suggested items" to buy with this, I can get a Class 2 dongle that will let me pair more than one headset (up to three), or a Class 1 dongle that will let me pair one set of headphones. You *probably* can use any brand that's up to the spec; it doesn't seem as if it is necessary for you to use the Arctic branded dongle. The charger that comes with it is just a wire, standard USB to small usb (same as the Nook and many cell phones). There is no wall wart. Presumably you can plug it into any USB wart or port, I plugged mine into a pretty powerful one and knocked out a first charge (red ring while charging, no LED ring when done) rather quickly. The instructions are full of pictures, with an ... interesting use of real estate. But simply:To turn it on, depress and hold the button with the phone image for about three seconds. The light will go blue (and is blue periodically when in use). If you are wearing it, you will hear a noise to indicate it has booted up.To turn it off, depress and hold the button with the phone image for about three seconds. The light will go red and shut down. If you are wearing it, you will hear a noise to indicate it is shutting down.To put it in pairing mode, turn it off. Next, depress and hold the button with the phone image for seven to ten seconds until the light ring flashes blue, then red, then alternates.Sound quality and ambient sound entrance is decent. Low level sounds are low, mid range recordings mid range volume, super loud shoot and blow things up movies are super loud.Update 12/02/2012Bought a Bluetooth 4.0 micro USB adapter to pair this properly with my Win 7 machine. Inserted the driver disk, updated drivers, paired the headphones without the USB adapter - so I'll try it on the XP machine next. One limitation of this device is single-device pairing. I can only pair it to my phone or my computer at any given time, can't switch back and forth seamlessly.Update 12/16/2012Nope. One headphone per device. Windows limitation.

I'd buy them again
I did a fair amount of research before buying these and I feel like I probably made the right choice.Positives-Price. Honestly, at under 30 bucks, you can't ask for much more-Bluetooth works pretty well. The range seems pretty decent and the sound quality is good. Once you've paired it with your device, it reconnects quickly with each use. On my old phone, it used to drop its connection from time to time, but I haven't noticed that problem as much with my new phone so I don't think I can attribute much of the dropping to the headphones.-They fit well. I've worn them while running many times and haven't felt them slip at all. I've got a pretty average sized head. I can't imagine you'd have any trouble unless you're particularly tiny.-Battery life is solid. I generally only use these during my daily commute which is about an hour and a half there and back. I've never had a problem getting through a week of use without recharging.-They fold. I carry headphones everywhere. They're a bit bulky, but they'll fit in an empty pocket.-Plays a chime when you get a phone call. It's a nice touch.Negatives-Battery low notification isn't my favorite. It doesn't warn you the battery is low until about 10 minutes before it dies and the way it warns you is to beep incessantly over the sound over whatever it is you're playing. There are lights on the outside of one of the headphones. You'd think they could have programmed it to blink in a certain way when the battery is nearly drained. There should be a way to check how much battery life is left before its almost dead.-The construction feels pretty solid, but I've noticed a couple screws inside the band appear rusty. Not sure what that's about.-Weird complaint, but the blinking light on the outside of one ear are a bit bright and annoying. If you're in a dark room, your headphones are going to illuminate the whole area once every few seconds. If you're sharing a room with someone for whatever reason and they're trying to get some sleep, these might tick them off.Neutral-I haven't done much with the microphone. I don't generally rely on these as a way to talk to people so my review may not be much help in this area, but every once in awhile I'll answer a call on them and most of the time they seem to do the job ok. A few times I've gotten complaints that I'm difficult to hear.Overall, definitely worth the purchase. I've had these for several months now and my complaints are pretty minimal.

Look Ma No Wires
For the price these are a very decent set of head phones with good music and voice reproduction. I have found the battery life to be decent easily going for over a week of regular daily usage in fact these kept going for a disturbingly long time when trying to drain the battery for its initial charge cycles as requested in the manual. the controls are easy to use recognized by Android Linux and Windows with the call button acting like a play/pause button in Windows 7 (Intel bluetooth), in all i have these pared with 4 devices and reconnection has not required re-pairing yet. I hate having wires about my person and having gone bluetooth can tell you right now i am not going back to the awkward tugging of a wire between pocket and ear.

Molto buono
