The only solder paste I trust for production runs
Not going to pretend this is a discovery — Chip Quik SMD291AX has a reputation in the hobby electronics community for a reason and that reputation is earned. Been running this through a stencil on leaded paste reflow work for a limited board run and the results have been consistently clean across the whole batch. Paste consistency is exactly where it needs to be. Extrudes smoothly through a stencil without bridging on fine pitch pads, holds its shape between application and reflow without slumping, and the tack is strong enough that components stay put through handling without shifting before heat is applied. These sound like baseline requirements but cheaper pastes fail at least one of them reliably. 63/37 eutectic alloy means a sharp liquidus transition at 183°C with no plastic phase — you get a clean reflow without having to babysit the thermal profile as carefully as you do with non-eutectic alloys. The joints come out shiny and well formed consistently. No clean flux residue lives up to its name. Left the boards as-is after reflow and the residue is minimal, non-corrosive, and doesn't cause any issues with continuity or appearance. When I do clean it IPA takes it off without any effort. 5cc syringe format is practical for stencil work and hand application on rework. Keep it refrigerated between sessions and it stays workable for a long time without drying out or separating. If you're doing any volume of SMD assembly and still experimenting with paste brands stop experimenting. This is the one.

The best solder paste if stored in the fridge.
I've been able to use the same syringe of this flux for years, storing it in the refrigerator. I've had better results with this flux than others when stenciling. The solder seems to reflow more easily and the components stay put when using a hot air iron at low air velocity. Throw it in the refrigerator for a bit, or it will tend to stencil into small puddles instead of well-formed shapes. In my opinion, it's the best.

Worked Well
I accidentally bumped the batter connector off of an iPod Classic, and could not get the pads properly soldered with a normal spool of solder and looked into alternatives. It has been well over a decade that I had to solder some SMDs, so I forgot about liquid solder/solder paste and after seeing a couple Youtube videos using it I figured it is much cheaper than replacing the logic board, so if it doesn't work, no big deal. I was able to clean off the pads and put a drop of paste on all three pads and easily solder it back down with a wide tip. Since I didn't have good precision tweezers, I had a small bridge between two pins, which I was able to eventually get cleaned up. By no means meant as a problem with the paste, but just be careful not to use too much. :)

Works, but Balls...
Great for reflow or hot air station. Lower melting temp. than unleaded solders, but balls up and goes bad quickly. Use within the first few months. Because of the pooling under components, not sure it's a time saver, compared to just running across the pins using a soldering tip. Still, useful even useful for that method, since can be applied first, and then component pressed all the way to the pads before soldering. Then running tip across each pin will melt the solder paste below and complete the joint.

Good stuff (TM)
I've tried buying larger syringes, and even a container of this stuff. But, I don't use it enough to justify the larger containers. This is a good SMD paste in a container that's right-sized for my needs.

It works as you would expect
As the old saying goes, "a little goes a long way". I practiced soldering using an old SMD based VGA card, removing components, solder wicking the pads, applying this paste, setting the component in place and heating it with my hot air workstation. It's satisfying to see the grey pasted suddenly flash into a silvery mercury--like liquid, and seeing it pull into the pads to form a perfect solder joint. Just a tiny pin dot of the stuff on each solder pad is all you need. Any more than that and you'll need to wick away the excess as it forms solder bridges. After I made several successful chip replacements on the test board, I tackled my expensive audio analyzer relay replacement. This paste made short work of it. Highly recommended.

Reflows Great
This solder paste is good quality. This solder reflows great. I've been able to reflow fine-pitch QFN components in a cheap modified T-962 oven with consistent results. Lead-Tin solder is one of the best kinds for reflow, but be careful with the fumes. I use a fume vacuum or open the door to the outside world.

Works as intended; a little messy
Heats up and flows more or less as expected, with the odd bit of solder flying off. Make sure to clean up with isopropyl alcohol after use.

Good Reflow Solder
I had bought this ages and ages ago but had never found a use for it. Finally did some reflow soldering and found this stuff to work amazingly. Instructions for use were clear, melt was good and final performance seems to be as good as my hand soldering. Definitely would recommend.

Pas pour les amateurs
La pâte est précise et fonctionne à merveille... ce n'est pas un produit pour débutant car si mal appliqué ou en trop grosse quantité, ça peut créé un court-circuit... pas assez, la soudure ne tiendra pas. Somme toute, excellent produit, je recommande.
