Quick resource for Excel

It was a good introduction to power pivot. But nothing beyond a beginner level. I wish it was a bit more in-depth.

I have learned about Power Query from youtube videos and use it sometimes. But this book was very helpful to put everything into context and build a foundation. I think I will be using Power Query more often.

I’ve enjoyed multiple books from the Dummies line. I’m an advanced Excel user but this book is a little too advanced. Power queries are a tough topic and this book didn’t help me.

Great reference to keep on hand.

Loads of practical information

There apparently is a difference between "regular" pivot tables in Excel and "power" pivot tables. Although there are approximately 8 chapters on pivot tables, you really need to know about regular pivot tables first. Power Query is a very advanced way to work on pivot tables. I "assumed" this book was for beginners, but is more for more advanced users. If you are already familiar with pivot tables, this book is for you. If you're looking for a beginner's guide, look elsewhere. Will be returning.

A very light introduction to managing data in Excel with P.Pivot and Query, the information is clear and stepwise introduction to managing this Excel add-ins. I miss some real life example usage, some troubleshooting when one tries to stablish relations within tables and it does not work, ..... , and it keeps surprising me the "generous" waste of paper with margins and pages half empty ... In my opinion, too expensive for what you get.

Online files have been messed about by someone. One whole chapter depends on some web scraping that is no longer possible. That makes it a poor buy for me.
