Why did you pick this product vs others?: Cheap but works great!

Hey just wanted to let you guys know that I have been using this HID ballast for about 1 year they work really good even have them connected to my fog lights the reason i ordered some more was becuase my Little brother got his first car and i got them for that reason and for my use they are perfect they have a good lighting vision and they work way better than the stock headlights... And ones again thank you for your good quality Ballast

Disappointed with Xentec's quality. I've been using HID kits for a long time for my cars and motorcycles since 2009. Retrofitting projectors into stock headlight housings, angel eyes, demon eyes, etc. I ordered a Xentec D2s HID kit and it included the "new" tube style ballasts. They both failed under 30 minutes as I was adjusting the headlights. The seller sent me new ones and I didn't bother since I was on a time crunch. Ordered this to replace. It worked for a day and then the same issue. It went out. I am using a relay harness as well so it takes the load off of the ballast. Was out of time and fed up as it's the only mode of transportation so I ordered some morimoto ballasts. Hooked them up to the Xentec bulbs and no issues so far and it's been 2 weeks.

This is great for the price and easily replaced a ballast that blew out or was burned and warped from incorrect placement. The only problem I had was not related to the product itself but was related to the starte problems that occur with HIDs and cold weather. I'll reinstall in spring.

One of the original ballasts that I bought went bad after about seven months of use. Nonetheless, this company stands by their customers. When I contacted Xentec they swiftly sent me a replacement ballast. The ballasts they sent me this time was actually better quality than the one I had purchased last year. Being that it was better quality, it provided more power, and actually made my one light brighter than the other. When I let Xentec know about this, they sent me another high-quality ballast with no trouble at all. This company stays true to their customers!

NOTE These are not waterproof!

I had to order a new ballast since my passenger side finally burnt out. It’s easy to take out and reinstall the new one. I popped this bad boy in and BAM!!! My HID headlight came back on. Might be a good idea to buy a spare one for future replacements.

So the ballast lasted around 4 months, with around half an hours use a day. (only live 10 minutes from work) rather disappointing, ive switched to LED, cheaper and seems to be more reliable... Would not reccomended buying this product unless you want to buy another ballast in a few months.
