I wanted an ash bucket that not only had a nice lid, but that also has a classy appearance sitting next to my wood stove and this item is well made, looks great, and was everything I was looking for. I would suggest it over the standard run of the mill ash bucket.

I got the small size. It's adorable for ashes on my hearth. But, I bought it to protect my Glucerna from mice this winter. Last winter the mice I didn't catch chewed through the plastic, guzzled, then soaked my carpet. I needed a heavy lid and impervious metal. This is perfect; they chew thru everything & I didn't want glass. I wanted something pretty for my stairs near my bed. I'm disabled & need handy protein.

it was a bit big and not as heavy as we thought so we ordered the smaller one and the lid doesn’t close. wrote to seller . first they said they didn’t carry two sizes…lol… sent copy of their sales page. they offered a refund until i told them they did sell two sizes. now heard nothing. guess we will use the bucket with misfit top. not real happy

To small for the fireplace so we use it outside for cigarette butts for those that smoke. It like great out there

I use this on my covered patio to store charcoal for the grill. Nice touch and much better looking than the Kingsford (or similar) bag.

This is a review of the small size, oval can. First off, the small can size is smaller than advertised. The listing indicates it is "Small Size Ash Bucket: High 18.11 inch ,Length 10.04 inch Width: 8.66 inch'. It is smaller, about 13 inches tall (including lid), 10 inches across and about 7 inches deep. It looks ok, but the paint is not done very nicely on it and it has a very rough feel, not smooth at all. However I will keep it as it still meets my needs.

I like the color that it's not a pure black like just about every other ashes pail on the market. I bought two, one of which to hold kindling. That way I can flank either side of my wood stove with the two pails, which looks quite handsome. I also like the shape of the pail/bucket that's cylindrical instead of a typical shape that narrows at the bottom. This allows greater holding capacity.

Very nicely constructed and material used. Well worth the bucks.

This bucket is great but it did not come with the lid that was supposed to be with it as advertised. Without the lid the ash blows all over the place. The seller did not offer a new lid or a refund. Would rate 0 stars if I could. Unacceptable customer service.
