Suit (Book One) (Twin Duo) by Jettie Woodruff (2015-09-20)

The first chapter sucked me in and I couldn't put it down. Gabriella was in a hospital after an accident and couldn't remember her life even her name. When she woke up she met her husband, Paxton, who she couldn't remember either but something was a bit off about him. She was afraid to go home with this man who she didn't remember.Paxton is a control freak who wants to control everything Gabriella did including what she says, what she wears and how they have sex - yes everything! She doesn't understand her attraction to this man and why she puts up with his behavior. This part of the story by far was the best part for me. Their relationship starts to change because she starts to change and I was interested in their evolution. Steamy, steamy sex scenes that are not for the faint of heart was in the book from beginning to end.The mystery part of the story- who is Gabriella and what happened in her past was not as compelling to me although it was an interesting concept. Although the book is titled as #1 of the story, the ending was a bit abrupt to include a cliff hanger. I really liked the story overall but I think a few more chapters to conclude the story would be better than adding a whole other book. But I guess I'll see when it comes out which I plan to read.

WHAT DID I JUST READ? Perfection. Complete and total perfection that grabbed my insides and twisted them into knots. An intriguing story full of plot twists with an original storyline is exactly what I just read with Suit by Jettie Woodruff. My mind was blown over and over again while reading. This is a romance novel like nothing I’ve ever read before. I encourage anyone who likes their romance on the edgier side to give Suit a try.I’m going to start this review of saying that I’ve got to be a bit vague in some of my points. This is a romantic suspense with twist after turn after twist. So there is a reasons I’m not going more in depth with the points I’m making and that is to avoid spoilers.My emotions wavered a lot during the beginning of the book. Not my emotions about the book (at all) but my emotions toward the characters. You’re purposely left in the dark concerning a lot of things to do with the plot and I wasn’t sure where the book was going to go.Paxton Pierce is a complicated man. At first I kept waiting for a second leading man option to enter and whisk Gabriella away from her horrible husband. Then even while I, myself the reader was angry at Paxton, I didn’t want him to go away. I needed to know more and all the gritty details of what the hell was going on.This book is also different because our leading couple starts off as just that… already a couple. Husband and wife. While they are already married when the book begins we still see a relationship between them begin for more than a few reasons, that I’ll just keep to myself.Gabriella’s character is someone who has more depth than most stories I’ve ever read. There is an insane amount of reasons why we see so many different sides of who she is. The woman she was before the story takes place. The woman she’s growing into as the story develops and the girl she was as a child. Her memory loss takes the reader on a ride because Gabby can go so in-depth about her emotions and not give away plot twists to the reader because she is in the dark, just like us.This is a story that sucks you right in from the start. You’re tossed around on a wild ride of tricky plot arcs and dark storylines. You hate Paxton one minute and then he’s got you hot under your collar with the plethora of STEAMY scenes. You effortlessly route for Gabby throughout the entirety of the story. You read a story like this and your brain fills with conspiracy theories and hardcore emotions.I knew I had found something remarkable right from the first chapter. I’m hooked and I’m continuing along with this series for sure. There is no way I could not NEED to know what happens, to find out how it ends. My greedy hands were fumbling with my kindle the second I finished in order to go and grab book 2.This story will blow your mind and I believe it’s a fictional journey you have to take! Just hang on and enjoy the ride!

If there was ever an author that reinvented herself with each book it's Jettie Woodruff. She has a way of making us fall for the "bad" guys in a way no one else could. Even when you hate them, you love them, and you will hate Paxton. Or maybe you won't.With Suit we are introduced to Gabby and Paxton. From the outside, the seemingly perfect couple, with two perfect children. Everything about them just seems so....perfect. Right down to their gated community. But what appears to be Nirvana is actually more like Wisteria Lane, not everything is as it seems.There were several times reading this book I had no idea where Jettie was going to go. Just as you think things are going to go one way, she takes you in a totally different direction. You are right there with Gabby trying to figure out what's what and who's who. You really begin to empathize with Gabby as she tries to piece her life back together. And don't think you have all the answers, you don't. It's so full of twists and turns it even has it's own support group. That is the mark of a fantastic book. It is, quite simply, one of the most mind bending,whatthehelldidI just read books I have ever read. Brilliant job Jettie!

Frustrating in so many ways....the sex scenes were not particularly erotic. I've read many dark/darker books with lots of kink. This did absolutely nothing for me along those lines. The hero is mean and spiteful. There is nothing about him that evokes any desirable feelings. I've 'met' some seriously messed up hero's who are twisted that I absolutely would have defended their actions, but this guy does nothing for me. He's just a mean spirited punk, in my mind. Frustrating writing as I WANTED to like this book. I read through the whole thing knowing it would get better. My hopes would rise and then quickly follow a slow descent into mediocrity. I am spoiled, I guess. Still, there is so much potential. I wonder if, not just because of all the well documented reviews on the typos, an editor could have cleaned up the characters so they'd be more personable. I mistakenly bought the two pack for the Twin Trio and I can't send them back for a refund. However, I don't know if I can force myself to read the second book. I like the pacing of the book and alot of the parts, but I just don't know if I can stomach the disappointment.

If I could rate this book more stars I would it was absolutely amazing. I couldn't put it down you think it's going to be predictable but boy was I wrong. This has been one of the best books I've read in awhile I can't wait for the next book. I'm about to have a look when I can get the next book., or if not see what else the author has written. I don't normally write reviews but I just couldn't help myself I had to recommend to others to read. IT'S MUST READ!!

I could not put this book down! I devoured it. The book is unpredictable. I had no clue what was going to happen next. The characters are complex but likeable. There is just so much mystery. I am planning to download the next book immediately. I loved this.

What a brilliant book a easy five star read I highly recommend this book kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

Gripping book, I really enjoyed it. Pax & Gabby what a storyline. This book will have you hooked from start to finish

This book was amazing loved but I really need book 2 when I got a chance to read this book I was glued can't believe the end can't wait to find out more ,this book is a must read
