Clear Acrylic Riser Set of 3 (3-Inch, 4-Inch, 5-Inch)

These are easily a five star product assuming you know what you are getting. These are small (3", 4", and 5" cubes), lightweight (supporting 2-5 lbs) and made from acrylic plastic (not glass). They won't support a full size cake, your laptop, or a gold brick. They will nicely show off your collectibles, figures, knick·knacks, tchotchkes, and memorabilia. They are prefect for adding some vertical variation to items in a display cabinet or curio. The majority of the bad reviews seem to come down to a few 'issues':Issue 1: Cloudy, scratchedFix 1: Remove the (very) thin protective film that covers both sides of the plastic when shipped. This film takes all the abuse during manufacturing and shipment. Try picking at a corner of the plastic with a fingernail to get it started. Note: these are crystal clear acrylic plastic -- not glass. Once the protective film is removed they will scratch.Issue 2: Too smallFix 2: Improve reading comprehension and/or buy a ruler  Westcott Non-Shatter Ruler, Clear, 12 Inches,(13862) . Seriously, these are small (3", 4", and 5") cubes -- and that's what I wanted. If that's not what you want -- then please don't buy them!Issue 3: Too flimsy / not sturdy enoughFix 3: Sorry, there is no real fix for this. These are small plastic stands made from relatively thin plastic. This is good since they don't look bulky but it also means they won't support large amounts of weight. I wouldn't put more than a few pounds on them. If this isn't what you need then please don't buy them!Issue 4: Cracked in shippingFix 4: Return it. This one's a real problem -- although not really a problem with the item itself -- with no good solution. Mine arrived in perfect shape but there are a few people who've had their's arrive broken. Good think Amazon has easy returns!

These are PERFECT! Great size, solid, nice and clear. For those people who still fuss that they are not clear.....YES THEY ARE! The company has thoughtfully applied protective film to BOTH sides of each riser. You have to pull off the film from both sides......and now the vendor has put little notes on both sides to direct the seller to remove the film. What more do you need? These great stands are so much clearer than the ones that I have seen at my local brick and mortar stores that I will buy more from this vendor. I think that the local stores remove the protective film, set them out for sale, and then the pieces get marked from being handled in the shop. I display uncut gems, and really need pristine stands to stand up to the bright lights the gems are shown under. Scratched up risers look awful under such brilliant light. These are perfection.

These are great for displaying memorabilia on a shelf. Saves shelf space, too, if you fit smaller items below those on top of the holder. This is the third set I’ve purchased.

I got these because I was looking for some sort of stand for my alarm clock. I have a new bed set which puts my bed much higher than the night stand where my alarm is. This is perfect. I’m using the middle size one (4”?). I really only needed one, but this deal was amazing! After looking at review photos before purchase, I’ll definitely be able to figure something out with the other ones!I know some reviews show coming damaged or surprised by size. One, I knew exactly what size it would be. This is what I wanted. Read the information and KNOW what you’re getting. Also, mine did not come damaged luckily but Amazon will help if that’s the case.Overall, so pleased with this purchase! Exactly what I was looking for (which wasn’t easy)!

Its great for what it is, a simple stand for your small items to be presented. It is not high quality, so don't expect a perfect display, but it gets the job done. I use it to display my Amiibo figurines in an asymmetrical manner on my shelf. It works, and it looks pretty good. They had a few minor scratches on them but not visible from a distance of a few feet. You can see them if you look close and sunlight hits certain points. Not a big complain though. They are light weight and reflect light really well, so looks good in a sunny room. I use backlight behind them to make my figurines really stand out and it looks amazing. Highly recommend.

I bought these to display my china in my china cabinet, thinking that I would need to set things at different heights so everything could be seen, but I wasn't taking into consideration that my cabinet just isn't that deep. I did end up using the largest one upside down (with it like a U) so I could display my large bowl. This did "obscure" the middle of the bowl slightly, but as it is clear and I placed other smaller bowls on easel stands in front of it, it isn't noticeable. The came well packaged and had an adhesive lining on the inside to protect the finish (but only on the inside, the outside was bare and kind of dirty). All in all, pleased with my purchase.

I read the reviews that they come with a protective film. Mine came with brown film that is impossible to remove. Otherwise they would have been perfect.****Edit***** took forever but was able to get paper off. It looks good. I bought to display my candles. I gave it ONE STAR but now give it 4 stars looks great minus 1 star for difficulty in getting paper off.
