I have dry skin, especially on my cheeks. I am constantly trying new products to find the best solution for me. Ernest Supplies Matte Moisturizer is one of the best I've tried, BUT, I am not sure it will be my final destination.Pros+ MATTE! I hate looking shiny/greasy. This moisturizer makes me feel like a man. A dry, non-slimy man.+ Smells amazing+ Feels refreshing+ Packaging is kind-of neat. Good for travel.Cons- Price is high ($10 per oz)- Leaves my face feeling a little tight, not fully moisturized.The matte finish is the highlight of this product, but it may also be the reason I so not feel fully moisturized. It may work best for those of you with oily or normal skin. It does moisturize my dry skin, maybe I just have to get used to it feeling tighter than normal. I do love how this smells and feels when you apply it. Overall, a very good product.

What surprised me most is how cooling this stuff feels on the face. It kind of reminds me of Vapor Rub, lol, but in a good way! I love love LOVE the natural scent.. I usually prefer products that are have no scent at all..but for this, I will happily make an exception! And ok..what a bonus.. This did not break me out!!! I'm assuming that all the vitamins, antioxidants, and essential oils are doing a lot to calm inflammation and keep the skin healthy. I was using Neutrogena oil free moisturizer for a while, and I found it soooo strange that it made me look like an oil slick. But this product from Ernest Supplies is truly matte. My face looks SO good right after I apply it. And no, I was NOT paid to write this review...although I would love some extra cash right now, hahaha.

I like the new formulation even better. I have used it for a few days now. It absorbs quickly and does not feel too thick or greasy. My skin really seems to like it.

This product is one of my favorite moisturizers. Only reason I would deduct 1 star is that I don't believe it provide the matte finish it promises. Especially when products like "recipe for men" exist. Having that been said, i still prefer this product over recipe for men because it is more versatile and just so soothing! EXCELLENT!

I have really sensitive skin and most moisturizers make my face too shiny or irritated. Not Ernest Supplies. It even helps me with my perpetually shiny nose. While it is expensive, I don't use much at all and it's been the best post-shave treatment I've found for my skin. (I never break out in little red bumps on my neck any more.)I love this stuff and it's great for travel!

Packaging is great. Lotion works very well. Moisturizes, but doesn't leave a greasy feeling or any shininess on your face. Refreshing tingling feeling for a few moments. It says no scent added, but it does have a mild and pleasant, almost piney kind of scent that dissipates pretty quickly. It claims vitamins for healthier skin an"anti-aging," but I haven't noticed anything and have been using daily for a few weeks now.

Very convenient and original design of package.Love the citrousy smell, the cool and fresh-piney sensation once you put it on, the light/hydrating texture and how quickly it absorbs. I leaves my face feeling clean and nice.The texture: It doesn't leave your face shiny but it does not help to control or reduce sebum production either. Also, it makes foundation and spf lotion cake up and hard to spread. So it only works for me as a night moisturizer.Also, keep in mind it says to avoid eye area.

I used to love this stuff but I fear it now comes in a new formulation - first, its thicker than it used to be and it doesn’t absorb into my skin as easily - second, it is not as mattifying as it used to be which was the big advantage of this moisturizer - lastly, it used to tingle more going on i feel - not a bad product, but not as good as it used to be and I won’t by it again for mattifying issue

I love this moisturizer. It is light as a moisturizer and quite matte. I find the smell to be very natural and energizing. Easy to apply. The packaging is actually more functional than it looks and it is very easy to pack during travel.I find that it is a bit too light when I use it in dryer climates, and results in oil earlier than when I use it in a more humid climate. In Alberta I resort to a heavier moisturizer and in BC I use this moisturizer.I wish there was a slightly heavier version of this.

really good moisturizer for me in the cold Canadian winter but for some reason the price skyrocketed from $25 to $45 so I'm not going to purchase it again sorry but the small package does not justify the price. overall I gave it 4 stars because I do still feel some tightness around my eyes whenever I do use it.

I shave my head and have been using this moisturizer on it for a year now< it is great. No residue left, goes on nicely, no shine, definitely something I use daily and will continue to.

Love the consistency and natural fragrance of this product. Isn't a miracle mattifier, but it doesn't seem to make my face shinier than other creams might.

Incredible product and very competitively priced compared to other natural male grooming supplies. Smells and feels amazing and the packaging is really simple and manly.
