Svs subwoofer
When we are buying a premium subwoofer they should provide their own premium cable together with the power adapter cable or cord.

A Great Start
I wanted to break these in for a while before I gave an honest review of them. In my opinion, you really need two subwoofers to really tell how good they are, not because of added loudness, but for a more even distribution of bass throughout your room. You will always have peaks and nulls in your room if you only have one subwoofer, it doesn't matter how big or good it is.Now on to the actual review, these subwoofers are amazing for their size and cost. I have never heard a 10in subwoofer capable of doing what this can, and so smoothly (it's better than most 12 inchers on the market). Most subwoofers that I am more used to have peaks and then fall off a cliff starting around 30hz, this goes flat down to 20hz before starting to fall off around 17-18hz. While the original 1000 series may have been replaced by the new 1000pro series, I believe these are a better value since SVS has decided to increase the pricing on their other models by about $200-300. While $500 may sound a bit steep, just buy them, you're essentially getting audiophile bass that you just won't find in the $200-400 range (infact, there are still subwoofer that cost more than this one that aren't as good). If I could say one caveat, I do believe that this subwoofer and the SB1000 could be $100 less given that the old PB12-nsd and SB12-nsd were the same price and lower, and were between these units and the original 2000 series. They sound great with both music and movies and they definitely come alive when the source calls for it without being overpowering. I could run them much hotter than I currently have them but I'd be worried about things falling off the walls or damaging something. I haven't really noticed any port noise coming from them, which is a plus because that can really take you out of what you're trying to watch or listen to (something that plagues lower end subs). The sub is articulate enough to work with most genres of music, but the sealed SB1000 maybe the better option for those that listen to music more than watching movies. I think that these subs are fantastic and would be a great addition to anyone that wants to get into having great sound (just remember to buy atleast two).

Super Deal

Excellent Speaker
Practically next day delivery even under lock down conditions. Very fast seller feedback, too, in response to questions. The speaker came doubly packed for protection; two persons to unpack it are recommended as the thing is quite big and heavy. UK plug was included. The speaker does not come with cables, which does make sense, as what one needs often depends on the setup. I had two options determined by the size of the speaker: one requiring short cables and an RCA-splitter to duplicate the pre-amp output [or alternatively RCA output from a Bluetooth receiver]; the other one a long cable (7m) and making use of the speaker's internal 80Hz-filters and RCA audio outputs to the main speakers. Both worked fine without much fiddling. The two options were determined by the possible locations to place the speaker, which is relatively large (it's brother, the SB1000 is smaller and would have allowed for a few more options). I checked dimensions (size and weight) before buying; the speaker appears even bigger than suggested by the size measures. It's now located in a corner of the room, blends in nicely, without attracting much attention.I watched and checked many product reviews about this speaker and others to finally converge on either the SVS SB1000 or SVS PB1000. the SB1000 seems to score somewhat higher for classical music and is a little smaller, yet providing the same level of quality. I think either would have been great for me.The speaker goes with a pair of active JBL2328P studio boxes which do have pretty good bass already. JBL had a matching sub-woofer for these, but it's not easily available anymore. The PB1000 was worth the buy. It does significantly and convincingly extend the spectrum into the lowest frequency range at high as well as low volume. I can't put the setup on full volume often as if I do it makes the walls vibrate (of a medium sized room). Some people report difficult setup procedures. Perhaps I have been lucky, but I can't confirm that (volume at 2o'clock, cut-off 50-80Hz, phase had minor impact). The auto-switching also works well unless at low volumes. It switches on almost immediately, but stays on for longer when the signal is gone. At low volume the speaker sometimes switches off.Overall, the buy was worth the money.A few months later: Did I say, I like it? I like it ! It fills the room with phat sound!!I saw it's down 10% Go, get it as long as you can.
