A Must Have First Aid Bandage
Trauma packs should be stored in every car, motorcycle, airplane, first aid kit, anywhere there might be a person who could hurt themselves. These bandages not only protect the abrasion or cut, it will help stop major bleeding since it contains a powder that coagulates blood quickly. The powder, originally designed by the Israeli Army Medical Department, has been a God-send on the battlefields since the end of the Vietnam War and now is available to the general public. I have two of these in each of my car's, motorcycle, and at home. I even had an opportunity to use one when my wife whacked off the tip of her finger in a food processor. I packed it in a dressing and took her to the hospital. Of course she bled like a stuck hog, but it stopped by the time we got to the hospital. For the cost and the potential usability of the dressings, it only makes sense to keep a few around.

Great Peace of Mind - Highly Recommended
This Adventure Medical Kits Trauma Pack with QuikClot is a good addition to an existing first aid kit or as the start of a range emergency pack. It is important to supplement this, or any kit, with at least a basic first aid training class and preferably an advanced class if you spend a lot of time outdoors or in potentially hazardous activities. We teach live fire defensive handgun classes and have added this to our large "blow out" medical bag that we keep with us anytime we head to the range. The items in this kit are decent quality but I was mostly interested in the QuikClot since all of the the other items are already duplicated in my IPOK.Highly Recommended!CFH

Best ready packed triage kits on the market
I make up my own medical kits. One in my BOB and one in my truck. No kit can replace what you can (with a little thought) set up yourself. That said, In my range bag I carry one of these kits and one Israeli compression bandage. If you are close to medical care thats all you need besides the knowledge to use them correctly. Adventure medical makes the best "ready to go" first aid kits on the market. Everything from these basic triage kits to fully loaded backpacks with everything but the kitchen sink. If you have money to burn, are too lazy to read a field medical basic instruction book, or don't have the time but want to know you have your triage needs pretty well covered then buy Adventure Medical. This is one area you definitely DON'T want to save money by buying some cheap first aid kit for use in the office.

Very Nice - But make sure you know what you need otherwise you could be disappointed.
It's convenient but remember that it's limited in its application. You cannot expect it to be an ALL IN ONE kit that covers every single medical injury.I like the idea of having the blood clotting bandage within a set of other bandages. I don't believe it has any 'neosporin' or any other type of antibiotic contained within the pack. That's a nice thing to add in for 'minor' wounds.Nice set of bandages that cover a variety of wounds, but again, it's not an ALL IN ONE kit.

You Need This
I just bought this stuff and now I have it in every single one of my range bags plus one in each vehicle and one in the nightstand. Never know when you will need this. For about the cost of a box of ammo you can have a pack of this on hand and ready to go if the unthinkable happens. Honestly, I hope I never need to use it but I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. This is not a want, it is a NEED. This is an essential piece of equipment.

Peace of mind!
I am on blood thinner. I was looking for something to carry in my purse in case of a big injury. After reading many reviews of lives saved with this product, I decided I had to get my hands on some to put in the car and my purse. I have not used the product yet. I hope I never will have to use it. However, I feel confident that should I cut myself badly, I have the materials to handle the problem until medical assistance arrives.

loading a .45 when......
So, here I am loading my .45 ACP when all of a sudden my thumb is accidentally smashed inbetween the magazine and a bullet. I decide to try and pull my thumb out with a nice yank.... it turned out that my thumb wanted to stay behind. So now I have a torn open thumb and no one to help me! I remembered I bought this the other day and decided now would be a good time to use it. In the end, it wasn't that bad but this kit had everything and more I could ask for!

Second purchase..
I have had these before and carry them with my medical kit while chain sawing in the woods. I have not used them yet - thank god - but they were as described. I probably should look for large one though.... This with a pressure bandage should do the trick.
