Arrived in great packaging a day earlier than expected per the shipping date, which was nice, product looked brand new and the metal is pretty sturdy, so liking it so far.The instructions were kinda vague or maybe I haven't had my morning coffee yet or something, but i'll go ahead and tell you all how to make it expand. There is a L shaped Hex key sent with the package, there is a small slot in the middle of the product, insert the hex key into that slot and turn it, until the two bars extend to the width of the door or opening that you are trying to fit it into. Want to take it down? Use that same hex key and turn it the counter direction to retract the bars.So I have little people that come and visit for periods of time and they weigh about 30 -120lbs and all of them have been able to swing on it and even actually do pull ups on this thing without it budging or moving at all. One of them even hung upside down by his legs on it and he's around 50lbs. I stood there to catch them at first just to make sure, but after watching for multiple days of tarzan like jumps onto this thing and swinging for multiple hours.......this bar is not moving.Have had this thing for a bit now and I don't even worry about the visiting kids swinging, doing pull ups, treating it like a monkey bar or anything about it anymore and has not come down unless I pulled it down by retracting the bars and moving it out of the way.My only complaint was that the rubber material that connects with the door walls/opening peels paint like crazy, but take that with a grain of salt as either my paint my be thin and paperlike or I expanded the product too much into the door opening and moved the paint myself. Either way easy fix and this product is definitely worth it especially if you are trying to get some pull ups in. I myself (240+lb) attempted a pull up on it, and it still didn't budge.Color me impressed. Will probably get a pull up rack and then also use this as my pull up bar in the rack considering the sturdiness of the material. 2 birds 1 stone.

I installed the pull up bar into the 35" entryway into my bathroom. The bar was easy to setup. There is a level in the center of the bar, and it comes with the adjustment allen wrench to expand the bar. On the top of the bar, there is a spot to hold the allen wrench for easy removal.Functionally, the bar is very sturdy. I am 150 lbs, and I haven't noticed any wobble in the bar when doing pullups. I am very happy with the product!

The heavy-duty door mount supports 440 pounds and is recommended for most humans. It is solidly built.The bar is adjustable and fits different doors.Comfortable foam grips are good. Why I decided to buy this unit, alignment bar is a great, i did not see that option at the other units.

Surprisingly sturdy. The bar takes a lot of rotations of the tool to reach the full length, but that is what makes it very adjustable. Bar seems well made, and is a little heavy. I suggest extending the bar most of the desired length before trying to place it in the door. Adjusting the length in the doorframe while holding above your head would be a little tricky for one person to do.I am not using this as a pull up bar, but instead as a door stop. The bar does support my weight (200 pounds) and seems to evenly distributed that weight across the door frame. Make sure the door you want to use this on is sturdy. I would not recommend using on door frames with wood paneling or any sort of facade. The bar may crack the facade if overtightened.The X shaped support bars do not line up on mine. This makes for an odd appearance visually, as one X is straight (making a 90 degree angle with the floor) while the other X is diagonal (making a 45 degree angle with the floor). Not a functional issue, but a noticeable aesthetic issue.Overall seems very sturdy and well made. If installed correctly it should support the weight listed in the description. Works great as a security bar door stop as well. Very happy with purchase.

So far this bar is a big hit at the house. I bought it for my oldest son to start working out with and my daughters tried it also and loved it. It holds up well to all kinds of pressure. Is extremely sturdy. This is mg second pull up bar as the kids found a way to break the other one which wasn't a bar like this. Would definitely recommend this product.

I'm renting, so didn't want to damage the frame by attaching a bar with screws. I've owned this bar for a couple of months, and so far, I'm very happy. Setup is a breeze, as the bar is secured by rotating a large hex key (of which they included 2) until the unit has propped itself against the frame. I added some paper towels between the bar's feet and the frame to further avoid any indentations. I've been using it daily, and it hasn't fallen off once. Highly recommended.

The whole family--both kids and adults--is already enjoying this pull-up bar. It is sturdy and comfortable and, despite the number of installation attempts didn't damage the wall. However, installation was EXCEEDINGLY difficult. I was tempted to give up after a while but finally managed to get it into place without letting it fall again from my weight. If you decide to purchase this item, it can definitely be secured despite the opinions of some, just takes a bit of finagling.

Bar itself is sturdy. Stays very snug in between my door posts. The padding separated from the bar when I loosened it, but it was very easy to peel off and re-attach to the bar. Personally, it shows me just how stable this bar really is when you tighten it properly. The levels are a godsend to make sure the bar is installed properly. I have used several times without the locking bolts and it holds well. I would still recommend them though. I'm around 190 lbs and holds me and my 160 lb roommate with ease. Loosening and retightening for other workouts is incredibly easy. Overall, well worth the price
