Rubie's Costume Nun Full Figure Adult Costume

It was a hit in Las Vegas. Loved it.

I am an actor and since I am playing a nun in a scene I needed a nun costume. Even though it arrived quickly, the outfit is not the same as the picture shown. The collar is very small, not the size pictured, in fact, it looks like a child's bib. The head piece is also different from the picture shown. The only thing that was right is the size, as I will be wearing street clothes under the costume, I needed the full figure robe. I'll make it work for the scene, but I am very disappointed in the product.

Well, you do get what you pay for, as this is a packaged costume.Edges are not finished, and a long shower to steam it or a quick wash will get most of the wrinkles out, but not all. I do not have an iron, so I don't know.A bit of interfacing would help the collar and I had a head band on to help support the veil. I had bobby pins close but did not need them as the head band is a non-slip.I recommend to take a normal pin and find a Catholic symbol, or go anti with something not, anarchy anyone?Anyhow, I am 5'4" and this was a bit long for me but that is normal when I go to Plus size costumes. The black dress can be reused for many costumes, just add different collars, head covers, or belts, etc.

I did not recieve the white collar, probably the most important part, no finished hems, everything just chopped off, do not have time to return, but I will definitely request some money back. Also it had white animal hair all over it, so I'm sure it was a return already. Would NEVER recommend to anyone.

This was so cheap looking and just plain ugly. The headband was nothing like the picture.

I wore this on a Mardi Gras float where we were all dressed as nuns, and this costume was a hit. I am a size 6 in women's clothes, and I couldn't have been a much bigger size and still fit in this without it being tight. My husband bought a different nun costume, and his was much bigger than mine. I did, however, wear this all day, and it looked great, and a few people told me I looked like a real nun.

I got this for myself and really looked like a none.
