Simply put - a Fantastic Monitor at a Great Price!
Holy Cow! I was scared to order this based on the bad reviews, but took a chance. I am glad I did. Monitor is huge and light, but has an awesome heavy, sturdy glass base, not a cheap plastic looking base like so many other monitors. Out of the box, without any calibration, the colors are nice and bright, text super sharp, and my games run smoothly. Zero dead pixels. Definitely a great monitor for my needs. I don't know what all the bad reviews are complaining about.

Awesome Monitor!
I love this monitor! I was using a 144mhz 24 inch TN panel by Asus which is great for gaming but not so good for editing photographs. This 32 inch monitor seems like it is twice the size and the higher resolution is awesome especially for working in Photoshop. The IPS panel is definitely an upgrade as well. The stand is not so great so I mounted this to the wall. There is absolutely no light bleed and I did not have a single dead pixel on the huge screen. I have been playing a lot of games recently and I have not noticed any ghosting at all even on newer titles. I have an Asus Strix GTX 970 video card and it handles the bigger monitor just as well as my older 1080 monitor.I highly recommend this monitor and its probably one of the best buys I have made on Amazon.

Pretty decent bang for the buck.
I ordered 2 of these monitors for my gaming rig. I went with 32 (31.5 actual) because of the price was less than many 27" 1440p monitors and the fact that I have had good luck with ASUS monitors in the past. Add to this the fact that they actually weigh less than the existing 27" 1080p monitors they were replacing (a plus for vesa mounting on the arms I have) and it was a no brainer. My first impressions out of the box was that the plastic felt a bit cheap, then I remembered they are 32 inch monitors and only weigh 13 pounds and some change. This plastic is also not the crazy shiny plastic I am used to on the Asus monitors. This ended up being a plus because I did not have to spend all day combating my OCD to get fingerprints off of them. So, I mounted them up on their mounting arms and noticed a nice surprise while doing so. The bezels are just 1/4 of an inch around the monitor. All was good until just after plugging them in and firing up my rig. At that point I thought I had made a huge mistake. The colors were all over the place, the monitors lacked focus visibly and they ghosted horribly when moving things around on the desktop. After I calmed down from my initial reaction, I spent a little time researching some things and came to the conclusion that I needed to reload my video drivers. So, I grabbed the latest drivers for my Nvidia 980 card and loaded them from scratch. Wow, what a world of difference. Other than the white being washed out a bit, I saw all the performance I have been used to with Asus monitors. This and I have still yet to spend the time to tune them to get the best possible picture.I took one star off because it appears that these either need a special driver or they need an extension to the standard plug-and-play video driver to enable the extra features they boast. I also expect this driver update will sharpen out the whites as I had a similar experience with my first Asus monitors many many years ago. So, until that driver arrives to enable the special features and the whites become clearer, I will hold onto that one star. That said, I am perfectly happy with these monitors and they perform just fine for my needs whether browsing the web, shooting bad guys in games, or watching a Blu-ray movie.

Not the BEST picture ever
Not the BEST picture ever, but very high quality with very bright display, Makes games look awesome in 1440p. For the price it was more than worth it!

The 32" ASUS VA32AQ monitor is amazing! I was a major proponent of dual-monitor setups for a long time, but had been hearing good things about using a single high-resolution monitor instead. I was worried that the monitor would be too big and I didn't want to spend the money on a overpriced 4K monitor. After agonizing over the decision for months, I finally pulled the trigger on this beauty. I couldn't be happier! The display is crystal clear and works perfectly for gaming and productivity. As silly as it sounds, I really like the dedicated phone charger USB port on the side of the monitor. I use it all the time.

It's pretty much as big as the 33" tv I was ...
exactly what I wanted, worked flawless out of the box, half the price of others. I waited 2 months to find an decent one I could afford. It's pretty much as big as the 33" tv I was using. I needed it for the resolution, my eyes. 19200 wasn't cutting it on the tv with the pixels large.

So bad it is close to unbelievable
Last week I received the ASUS PB328Q , and was not quite satisfied, despite the really good reviews.I then decided to order the ASUS VA32AQ.I wish I had not. This ASUS VA32AQ is so bad it is not true. The ASUS PB328Q IS A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER.ASUS VA32AQWhites are not white. Gray in some areas...typical TN effect. Washed out. Horrible. Calibration does little to nothing.Blacks are far from blackThe panel is not uniform at all.I do not know why Asus dirty their name and reputation with such garbage. The panel is not bright enough so everything looks dull.Lack of inputsThe stand is horrible, non adjustable and wobbly.ProsNo stuck pixelsvery very little BLB.It's so dull that even if there were BLB you would not see it!!Ran a few tests, not going to even continue wasting time with more testing

It's okay...
Very grainy on some systems. Needs a LOT of tweaking if that is the case for you as it was for us. It's cheap, good quality real estate though...

Perfect Size and Resolution at Great Value
I was on the fence about whether to buy a 1080p monitor to save some money, or spend a bit more and get 1440p. I am so glad i went with the higher resolution!- I use this monitor for casual gaming, movies, 3D modeling and general computing. This monitor is perfect for everything i do.- In games, the 60Hz refresh rate is very smooth and the 5ms latency is almost undetectable to me. The colors in the display are fantastic, at both low and high brightness settings, even better than what i see from my 4K tv.- The size of the display is perfect for me as well. I sit about 2.5 - 3 ft away from the monitor and can easily have two windows open side by side and navigate with ease.- The base of the monitor is a tempered glass pane with a brushed metal look within it, VERY sturdy and the tilting feature is nice as well- There is a charge only usb port on the left side that can come very handy for charging a phone or a headset.- I got this monitor on sale and it has turned out to perform better than what i expected, for a very fair price.

It’s good but there are better. Buy it on sale.
I bought these for users with eye problems that a 27 wasn’t big enough for and there was no space for two monitors. It’s huge and has a lot of real estates for application like excel or project. We also use own for CAD but there are better monitors for CAD and gaming. We got ours on sale at which points it’s great value. At its regular price I would rather buy a BENQ 32 inch1440 monitor, which is much better. Other than that it’s dependable and reliable and well built, just not the best.

A very nice WQHD IPS monitor.
This is now my second ASUS VA32AQ monitor. Paired up, they look wonderful together. The fact that I was able to get it used at a reduced price is a big win for me. It works well for gaming and the colours are super accurate for photo editing. I have nothing negative to say about this monitor.
