AllerEase Ultimate Allergy Protection and Comfort Zippered Mattress Protector, Twin

Chose the AllerEase Ultimate Allergy Protection Ultimate Cotton to help cut down on allergens from our mattress. Amazon states that this product is returned frequently, so a few details: Item is difficult to dry after washing as stated in reviews. Due to waterproofing the mattress cover comes out of the wash dripping like a plastic bag, plan on hanging the mattress cover for a few days to allow for air drying, then toss in dryer for a short period to fluff. Note that we noticed that the cover seemed to stick together in a few places when we tried to dry it in the dryer for over 15 minutes, air drying with a short fluff in the dryer worked beautifully. Fits the mattress nicely, slides over like an envelope with a zipper closure on one end. A definite two-person task to put the cover on. The cover does have a waterproof feature so it does have the "crinkle" sound, however the ultimate cotton feature on this cover refers to the top which is softer and quieter for sleeping. Also purchased the pillow covers to cut down on allergens. So far we're noticing a marked difference in the mornings, waking up with no stuffiness or sneezing. This is a probably the best mattress protection I have ever bought. You need 2 people to make installation easier specially if you have a heavy mattress. Our mattress is 12” and it fits perfectly. Have had it on our mattress for about 6 months and still looks in great.

Fits our twin size, hybrid memory, foam and spring mattress really well. If the mattress were any thicker I may have had some issues getting it on. The zipper does catch on some of the excess plasticky part left over from stitching, but if you tuck it in while zipping it's pretty easy. Zipper doesn't seem made all that well. Hopefully it holds up! Haven't washed yet. A little concerned about the plastic once washed. I'm assuming I won't be able to put it in the dryer which is what's recommended for dust mite prevention.

Very comfortable and soft pillow cases, does it’’s job. They’re very easy to wash and don’t tear. Definitely worth the money!

Product was great. Amazon driver left the package by the gate in the rain. Normally they leave it on the porch . So the box was soaked . Should have left shipping instructions I guess.

Best matress protector brand in the market for quality. I know it’s pricey but sooo worth it. Believe me i have tried them all.

We've spent 100s of dollars on these when we realized that our memory foam beds could spread fiberglass throughout the house. We spent extra money on these because we prefer to buy something quality, pay a bit more, if it lasts over the long run. Purchased these because of the name and also because they are supposed to be waterproof. We ordered so many and kept ordering because they wash and dry well. We have these almost every bed in our multigenerational household and on multiple of our giant dogs' beds.Last night, for the first time, one of our giant dogs vomited on her bed. The liquid soaked all the way through this "waterproof" encasement and onto the mattress beneath. It took hours of unanticipated cleaning, missed work, and I doubt the mattress will ever be the same. Now, I have to spend more money on actual waterproof protectors since these are absolute trash that do nothing. Actual waste. I am SO sick of companies constantly lying about their products. I absolutely do NOT recommend and will boycott this brand and tell others to do the same.
