Plumber had to solder pipes
It took the plumber work, but it's beautiful and works superb.

Easy to install as long as you already have the right valve mounted in the wall

Expensive but Nice
Had plumber install it - like some other brands - KOHLER demands you use only their specified valves and wall/pipe housing that this attaches to. Took some time to find right brass valves and $700-900.00 for plumbers to install valve then this kit.Don't but this kit unless you are sure the hidden plumbing valves and diverters are compatible. In this case a $100 plus fixture cost almost a thousand to install with other parts.

Buyer beware - faceplate is plastic
Description and all other references to material state metal, but once you open the package, you will see that the faceplate and the cover over the pipe leading to shower are cheap looking plastic. That’s not a good look Kohler for the price you charged for it!The knob and the shower head look solid and pretty and so the 2 star.BTW I will be returning it

Looks great.
This is a great faucet. Shower is in-between a regular stream and a rainfall. Very nice.
