It’s shape isn’t right for the seat. Unusable.Amended. The person that owns this company or this invention, didn’t like that I gave a one star review.So I didn’t look underneath my lid, fine, that is true, but one thing I value more than my sanitation, is my privacy. That same said owner somehow found my FB and messaged me a book about why I should change it. I didn’t even realize this until I started to read through it.Facebook is not an appropriate choice to tell me to change my review and Amazon provides the ability to reach out. And to try to single me out on the detail page is not going to help your cause.

I dont know what is wrong with people saying it only fits flat bottom toilet seats. There was DEFINITELY an extra tape pad and it DEFINITELY FITS MY hollowed out toilet seat! I even contacted the company that makes the Sani-Hani to ask if every box contains and extra tape pad... AND IT DOES! Turns out they are a husband and wife small business based in Texas. And the inventor is a young lad based in Colorado (the entire company consists of those 3 people, NOT A BIG BUSINESS w/ CORPORATE GREED). I dont know if people are flat out lying and leaving bad reviews that say it doesn't have the extra tape or if they are competitors leaving bad reviews to hurt this small business. But being a small business owner myself I felt it necessary to leave a detailed review about how AWESOME this little gadget truly is!! And to right the wrongs of some of these frivolous reviews that are just not factual.As far as the actual product goes. IT IS FANTASTIC! My household is a zoo. 4 boys! This has given my wife peace of mind. My house is SO MUCH more sanitary. And it actually acts as a visual reminder for the boys to lift and lower the toilet seat! GREAT PRODUCT! Will be buying more for my business, my family and my friends. Such a simple solution at under $10 a toilet for a such a common problem that is touching the nasty, disgusting, germ ridden toilet seat!Note: I've attached a picture of one of the handles I bought, fresh out of the packaging which shows both the extra tape pad and the instructions for using it.

I'm glad someone addressed the problem I've been having; that the toilet seat sits too close to the bowl and you have to try really hard not to touch the side of the toilet when you lift the lid. Most toilet seats have a bit of a gap, making it a non issue, but the new toilet seat I got sits almost flush (no pun intended) with the rim of the toilet.My one concern was that the sani handi is flat and the toilet seat is not. I emailed the seller, who promptly responded telling me that a second adhesive pad is included, so that if the bowl is curved, the pad will fill in the gap. I definitely needed the second pad, but but with it, it's a perfect fit! I cut the second pad a bit so that it won't show (you only need about half of the pad).Really glad this product exists.

I purchased 5 and haven't even gone thru 1. It's been on my toilet for almost a year and it's holding QUITE WELL. I did have to check my toilet seats (needs a solid base on the under side to adhere too), I had one, but went out and purchased a brand new toilet seat to fit my other handle.I've given them away as GIFTS to a few of my friends with children and they seem to love them as well.Not only do I never have to touch the toilet seat again, I've even trained my boyfriend to use it! ;) Great purchase, Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to any individual w/ or w/out children, corporations, small businesses, retail stores and anyone who never wants to have to use your shoe to pull down the toilet seat EVER AGAIN!UPDATE: We have recently moved homes and we were worried when we saw that our new home had recessed/concave (not a flat surface) toilet seat bottoms... It turns out Sani-Hani recently upgraded their product and added a 5mm industrial strength adhesive pad to the package to account for these toilet seats! We are so happy we get to maintain our sanitation in cleanliness in our new home, with our recessed toilet seats! Thank you once again Sani-Hani! Still highly recommend this product... FOR EVERYONE now! Not just for people whose toilet seats have a flat bottom surface!

This sanitary handle is great. The material is thick and smooth, just like my toilet seat so it looks cohesive and not cheep like other similar items. It honestly looks like it was made already attached to the seat if that makes sense. It came with 2 adhesion pads. I have a flat seat so I only used 1, 2 pads can be stacked to accommodate a seat with a rim underneath and instructions were adaquate. It's been a couple of weeks and it's sturdy! It's helping my 6 year old son to remember to lift the seat and he likes not touching the seat, even though I keep my toilets clean I can't blame him as I myself would cringe when lifting the lid for cleaning.....this baby has ended the cringe :) I was even able to reposition the adhesive when initially installing, not that easy to pull off but I did it and it still sticks great. If for some reason the adhesion gave out I will likely apply E600 on the pad straight on my seat because the product looks nice, works great and is everything I wanted so I don't mind it being permenant but everything is sticking great so far. I did notice a brown burnt like spot on the ball of the handle, it ended up being on the underside so it was a little unsightly but do able and that's why I rated 4 stars and not 5. Perhaps I got a defective one and it would be great if the company could explain this marking to me. Even with the imperfection I may order another one for my other bathroom because it is nice. I attached some pictures for reference, the last one I tried to get the burnt spot but it was hard to get a good shot.
