Much more than a great piano player
I first became interested in Ms. Ball's music after seeing her in New Orleans. She's a terrific honky-tonk/boogie piano player. But what this disc displays is her excellent R&B vocals. If it wasn't for that piano poundin, I'd call her a "soul singer" Great music, support it!!

Marcia not only writes, PLAYS THOSE KEYS and sings, she is as close as you'll get to LOUZEEANNA, Cajun & Squeeze Box. She is still full of surprises and Marcia is pure talent. If your feet do not start tapping or your body does not start moving when listening to Marcia, you are dead.

Another great from Marsha Ball. I try to see as many of her concerts as I can. She plays on the Sandy Beaches Cruise every year, and the Legend Cruises. Great week of music out on the ocean..
