Ultra fast setup and a huge headroom for a six person tent!
The Eureka Desert Canyon Tent took just a few min for me to setup and is huge. I can easily sleep 4 people comfortably across and have space for gear as well. I am amazed at how much headroom there is and like that the tent fly can be used together or separately for other events, like a picnic, backyard party, or sunscreen at the beach. I threw the tent fly over the top and connected it to the tent after taking the photo of it. I have setup tents before, but really one person who never set up a tent can easily set this one up. The directions on the joints for the tent poles make it very simple to setup. Love the design!

This is a great tent for tall people
I like this tent, the poles are strong, I can stand up and change in it, and set up a bed in it no problem, my only criticism might be that the outer ropes to fasten it to the grounds are a bit confusing and seem superfluous to the purpose, it's a lot of strings between the roof covering and the ground spikes and you just end up tying it up in whatever way you can, I wish it was just some simple snap clips and not a bunch of loose twine, but otherwise a very nice product.

Great Tent
So spacious, easy set up, I wish the tent would stay up with you the canopy / Fly attached so that you could just move it and cover your eating space temporarily. Also probably just because I am used to four season tents and not three season tents, the top is open and lets in a lot of cold air at night. If you are in a warm climate this would probably be great, however in the mountains of Colorado when the temperature drops 40 degrees at night it was cold! Still a fantastic tent, just needs the right setting.

Great tent
I have used this tent in three camping trips already and I'm super happy with it. It is very spacious, easy to put together and it's also very fresh. Inside it, i use a very large queen size inflatable mattress and we still have a lot of room for bags and luggage.

Good quality product
We like our new Eureka tent but on our first trip out it rained and the fly allows the rain to drip right on you as you are unzipping your tent. Better design of rain fly would be appreciated .

Excellent and easy to assemble.
Love the eave on the rain fly. It rained hard on the first night we ever used the tent and we were impressed. It's not as easy to assemble as our Copper Canyon but we still love it.

Great tent, but not as good as the Copper Canyon one
I love these Eureka 10'x10' tents with straight walls. I've had a Copper Canyon 6 person tent for years, but I wanted to see if this teeny would be better. So I bought it for a 2 week camping trip I was going on with a friend and we pitched these two tents side by side. The Desert Canyon tent is good, but not better.I love being about to stand up and move around inside the tent while standing! It still has the wonderful fully ventilated roof, but only windows on three walls, instead of all four. The two big side windows are closed with toggles, instead of zippers, so you don't get as much flexibility with how much they're open. The door one is zippered. I thought the fly being a few inches farther away from the roof of the tent and the lighter color would make a difference in heat retention, but this was offset by the fewer windows and it ended up being the warmer of the two tents. The door was rounder, and the bottom of the door about an inch or two higher off the ground, so it was a little harder to get in and out of (still better than any dome tent I've tried). We did not try using the fly separately. If we do in the future, I'll update this review.

Not the Eureka tent I used to know
It is so unfortunate. This tent leaked from the bottom the first night I used it. And the new Eureka design was much harder to put up and to put away. The tent was much flimsier overall. My previous tent was a Eureka which I owned for over 20 years. Easy to put up, take down, and store. Great in the rain.

Super happy with this tent.
I've only used this tent for 2 nights so far but I am happy with it. It was a bit tricky to put up with no one to help, the top wanted to flip downward instead up upwards, but eventually I got it. It rained the second night and I didn't notice any rain getting inside the tent. Nice and spacious inside with a good amount of storage pockets. My only minor complaint is the design of the rain fly attracts a lot of insects that I had to shake out when I packed up. It's also tricky to pack it in a tidy way and I worry if over time the weight of the attached plastic ends will cause tears.
