I bought this for my church because we needed it to protect our sound system. It works great. Besides when you use the key you have to wiggle it a little. It's very well built & heavy. It's very nice looking

Nice hard case for church's mixer

This case is well built, light, and easy to manage. It can also handle larger boards like the A&H QU-16 because of the removable rear panel. I also have the version of this case with 4 rack spaces below the mixer, and the QU-16 does not fit properly in that case. I'm very happy with the strength and protection this case provides.

perfect for what we needed it for.

My Allen & Heath Mixwizard 3 fits perfect. Very Impressed with the quality. I had to do a small modification so the power cord fit but no big deal

Low profile but totally does the job

This is not a review of Amazon. It's of SKB, and their inadequate on-line documentation. The overview: if you use Allen & Heath's SQ-5 rack ears kit to mount an SQ-5 in an SKB model 1SKB-R100 case, the back of the mixer sits up too high (5 1/2") for the case cover to close. SKB's web page for the 1SKB-R100 neglects to mention this, it just indicates on their "Will It Fit?" tab that the SQ-5 will fit. What it fails to mention (on the R100 page) is that their 1SKB-RE-SQ5 rack ears kit MUST be used. That kit is listed on a completely separate "Rack Products > Accessories" page, so if one doesn't happen to look there, the need for it is not realized. To make matters worse, this kit is back-ordered EVERWHERE. I discovered the problem during Easter weekend, so I'll have to wait until Monday to work it out.
