Fit really well, although I do wish the texture was silkier. The color matches pretty well although the product is really thick. I did notice that it made the trackpad a little less sensitive, but it's truly very little. I can still use a finger tap to click, just not a feather light one like I was using before. It doesn't affect my computer use at all really, it's jist something I noticed after I just put it on. I also put the Incase dots hard case on right after applying the palm rest protector, and I found that if I snapped the little tabs on the bottom half of the case up and over the computer fast enough, it didn't affect the protector, however in 2 spots I wasn't that lucky. The protector caught on the little tabs, but I didn't notice any lifting. To prevent any future lifting, I just took a small xacto knife and trimmed about 1mm around the tab. Problem solved and you can't notice the difference. All in all I really like the product, but I'm deducting a star because of the texture. The MacBook has such a silky smooth finish, especially the trackpad, that this just feels kind of rough and cheap. However, it's not horrible by any means and I'm still going to use the product.

I bought this trackpad and palm rest skin to protect my new MacBook 12. I really like it and it's a PERFECT match - barely detectable that its on! I have very oily skin and, although I would love to keep the computer exposed as is with its inherent aesthetic elegance, I would rather protect my investment. The trackpad is pretty good - I might have noticed a bit of a slowdown, but I would expect this as I'm putting a sticker on top of it. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase.

The color is exact and it is seamless to the naked eye...sort of. on the right side of the track pad it is ever so off (meaning, the portion that was cut out was a bit too wide. It also means that on the right edge it goes over a teeny bit. You can't tell so much, but the tiny overhang is sharp. Someone who is anal retentive might be really bugged by it.I did not use the track pad cover because when I tried it it affected the way the trackpad functioned.

I love this! The color matches my Rose Gold 12-inch Macbook well, to be honest, you can't even tell there's something on unless you touch it (since it has a slightly rougher texture). I wear a bracelet I never take off so this was very helpful, as I can not protect it from being scratched. Application was very easy. Once it sticks, it STICKS. I unfortunately had an issue where it didn't match up on the left side, and being the OCD I am, I made sure it was aligned perfectly. I lift it up, and it made a weird mark on the cover (not even a dent.. really just a weird scratch-looking mark). This is my fault, but I thought it was just weird and now I'm staring at the mark all the time :( haha! That might be confusing but the picture will show. As for the trackpad cover, I read some review that people are having a hard time with the Tap to Click feature after applying. I fortunately don't have that problem, and my tracking speed is on the second to the fastest setting. Overall, this is awesome. Definitely get this for your Macbook, you won't regret it! And just be very careful when it comes to putting it on.. don't make a mistake like I did.

This is perfect match for my rose gold mac laptop since you cant even tell it has a protector, I was hesitating because it is almost impossible to get the accesories to match in color with your laptop. I love it and i dont have to worry about my laptop getting scratched.
