This makes pack-up a breeze!
Scythe is an awesome game, but it's a game with a lot of pieces. 4 different resources, 7 different kinds of cards, 7 (with the expansion) player tokens and all of their accompanying meeples, and little colored tokens, 7 different player boards and and resource dashboards, 7 different denominations of coins... you get the picture. Lots of stuff. And while I love this game, setting it up—and even more so packing it up when the game is done—is a chore. I kept everything in individual little baggies, and everything had to go back into their little baggies when the game was over. This organizer makes set up and take down twice as fast. The board comes out first, then the coins and resources get placed where most people at the table can reach them, then I pass on their little boxes of characters, mechs & meeples, then set up the cards. It's quick, easy, and everything stays organized. There is no mess of little plastic baggies, and putting everything away is actually faster than setting it up with this thing. The organizer comes in a few flat boards that you pop the pieces out of, and you follow the instructions to put them together. You will want some wood glue (not included) and a wooden or rubber mallet (also not included), and for someone not used to this kind of thing it can be a little intimidating, but the single sheet of instructions are very clear. Each board of cut outs has each cut out labeled with a number & letter (3B), and the assembly instructions are broken out by the individual compartments you're building. A couple of them (the money and resource trays) require some patience. It took me maybe 3 hours to put together, but I was taking my time and watching TV while doing it.It does make the box substantially heavier. I put it on my scale and it weighs in at a little over 10 pounds (not included the characters and mechs as they weren't in the box when I weighed it because they are currently in the midst of being painted, but those wouldn't add much to the weight. 11 pounds max). The organizer fits the expansion with 2 extra characters. I don't know if it fits the Wind Gambit expansion, I don't own that one (yet). The organizer is made out of somewhat thin wood, so you don't want to go tossing it onto a table or letting it fall or you may break some of them.If you love this game. If you have hand painted miniatures that you don't want bouncing around in a plastic bag. If you play this game often, then this organizer is ideal if you can afford to pay almost the cost of the game itself, turning a $60 game into a $120 game. It isn't necessary, it's a luxury, but one I highly recommend if you love this game and play it often.

Great Organizer, Fun to Assemble
I don't usually splurge on Board Game Accessories, but really enjoy Scythe and decided I'd start picking up some things here and there. This was my first purchase besides the base game. My first recommendation is to make sure you have a good wood glue with a small application tip (most craft stores will have it), a small soft end mallet/hammer for tapping stubborn pieces into place, and either a couple of small vice grips or something heavy you can use to bookend pieces while they set.My picture has a couple of the individual player trays removed to shoe how things fit underneath. I found that everything fits in the box like a glove. The design makes it very difficult for pieces to fall out of their designated trays with the game board on top (it covers the area below the cards and to the right of the branded token trays on the right side in my photo). It also adds a good amount of weight to the game box, but completely worth it.The material itself looks kinda like balsa wood, but is a much firmer pressed particle board. Removing the pieces from the sheets they're shipped in is easy, but make sure you twist them a bit to minimize splintering. The instructions that come with them are difficult to follow by themselves, but good as a reference. I watched the video by Broken Token on YouTube and it made it pretty easy to get through everything. The only piece I had trouble with was the Coin Tray. It' the same design as the resource token trays, but because of it's length, the lack of support of the first tray slats you put together, and the multiple tray dividers, it increases the potential for a little slip during assembly turning into all the pieces coming apart. This was the only piece I really had to let the glue set for a while to complete, and one that would benefit from the use of a vice grip or some heavy books to hold it in place. All in all, great purchase if you like the game. Really speeds up set up and tear down, looks pretty snazzy in the box, and is well designed.

Simple and easy organization!
I used to dread playing Scythe. Opening a hundred small bags, searching for the right colors, sorting tokens, opening another plastic box to access more pieces. Bought this organizer on a whim. Whether or not it makes setup/teardown faster, it's completely worth the price. Pulling it out and putting it away is a breeze now. This thing makes playing the game a simple joy. It had to be assembled, but the instructions are clear and easy. The product description recommends wood glue, we only ended up using that on about 5 of the box kits. Keeps everything tightly in place, no extra padding or foam inserts necessary. The material is light and so far damage resistant. I'll definitely be buying from Broken Token in the future!
