Portable cookware
Great product. I like to cook messy foods outside and I live in an area that is prone to wind and this works great. Uses very little fuel of small sticks or a few lumps of charcoal once it gets going. Easy to control the heat.

Great substitute for the EcoZoom Versa Camping Stove
I lived through the Texas February 2021, power outage. Like millions, for 5 days I had ZERO power and more than 200 people froze to death in their homes in the state (and that's a low estimate). My house went down to 45 degrees inside my house and I vowed to never be so cold again. In the last few weeks, I've been looking for a wood burning stove to use in case of an emergency (I already own a Coleman propane camping stove) and if I run out of propane. I week ago I bought one of those stainless steel box stoves that are 6" to 10" in size and I thought they looked cheap and wanted something more robust and looked into getting a rocket stove. After several hours of searching online, I chose the EcoZoom Versa Camping Stove and put it in my Amazon shopping cart but two days later, I found they all sold out everywhere and it was gone from my shopping cart. I had seen this Ironclad rocket stove during my search on Amazon. I also submitted a question to the seller asking if this stove had any ceramic liners but received no reply. With no reviews but liking the size, look and weight of this stove, I bit the bullet on Saturday (Oct 9th) purchased this stove for $109 and it was delivered the next day in a triple box! Upon opening all three boxes (I had no problems with a damaged box) and the carry sack, and finally getting to the stove, I found out this Ironclad stove appeared to indeed be stout, heavy, and the instructions said it did have ceramic liners to contain the heat in the stove. The stove is almost a foot tall, a foot wide on top with a heavy cast iron top, and seems very well made. I have attached a short vid to see my new stove. All in all, this seems like a great purchase and I know I can cook food and boil water when we have another catastrophic power outage event in Texas, like we had in Feb 2021. The price has gone up by $15 bucks and it now cost $125 but I think the quality of this small rocket stove makes it worth it. I expect more power outages in Texas in the near future because there aren't enough power plants in Texas. Most power plants in Texas are privately owned, our population is booming and there's just not enough energy to supply all the new households. We also aren't connected to the national grid. With the purchase of my Ironclad Rocket Stove and bit of wood, I have a small portable stove that will keep be fed for the next power outage in Texas. FYI, this is not a hiking stove because its too heavy at 10 pounds but would be great for picnics, at dedicated camp sites, RV camping, or emergency use. All you need is a bit of wood and a lighter. If the stove doesn't work well once the wood goes in, I will revise this review. Again, my item had no faults.

Arrived damaged
I would love to have been able to use this stove, but the ceramic lining was broken upon arrival. Perhaps some more padding inside the box would be good. Something able to absorb any shock from UPS throwing around the warehouse and the back of the delivery truck. Otherwise, this stove was very well built and looked great. Will try again with a replacement. Non-returnable item, but a refund was easy through Amazon. If not damaged, would give 5 stars.

Definite must have
This rocket stove is amazing. I just used a handful of twigs from the yard along with some dryer lint to get it started, and it produced a very hot, very usable stove. It runs cool on the bottom so it didn't heat up my wooden patio. Total time to boil water in a standard 10 inch cast iron skillet was 5 minutes from cold water to full boil. Virtually zero smoke with it's combustion chamber re-burner design. It will leave a heavy soot deposit on your cookware. Comes with handy canvas bag and is surprisingly lightweight. It's very well built and appears to last for decades. I highly recommend this for camping or emergencies.

GREAT ADDITION TO ANYONE'S SHTF STUFF
This thing is solidly built and will outlive me. I bought one for my ex-wife for her birthday and used it when we camped. Heated up corn on the cob in a big stockpot. Saves by not having to use fuel cannisters to boil a lot of water plus it boils fast, the flames are like a jet engine, this thing rocks. Knowing I'll never run out of fuel for cooking is a good feeling. You can run out of gas or propane and if the supply chain is interrupted for any reason you're screwed but if you have one of these rocket stoves and some twigs you are definitely one step ahead of everybody else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, get one for that clueless loved one, it could save their life one day.

It weighs 21 lbs, not 10 lbs!
EDIT: I used the stove, and I really like it. I can't wait to make some beef stew outside with it! I still can't find a cover for it that I can just throw over it and leave it outside. I thought that this stove was heavy for 10 lbs, lol. I carried it into my backyard, into my hallway, back out into my yard, and removed it from 3 boxes, and my poor back was killing me on my 61 year old 5'2" frame. I thought "I'm getting old". So I came back for answers to some questions that I had, like, what if if gets wet from rain while hot, will it crack, and what the diameter was for an outdoor cover for it (which I can't find a cover for), but I can always measure it myself. It does come with a carry bag, but I want something that I can just throw over it when it cools, and leave it in one place outside. So to everyone who wrote a review quoting that this thing only weighs 10 lbs is wrong! It weighs 21 lbs!! It states that it weighs 9.66 kilos NOT pounds! I will edit this review to add more information after I actually use the stove.

A great wood stove for use in case of power failures, emergencies or camping. Though not recommended as a hike stove as it's a little heavy (20 lbs.). It only takes a small amount of wood fuel to boil water for soups or coffee/tea. Very well made. No disappointment's here.
