OsmoWood Wax Finish Transparent, 3111 White - .125 Liter

I have an old beech Ikea butcher block desk and I want it to fit in better with my other office furniture. This looked good and was easy to apply. As expected, this is a matte finish. A coat of Osmo 3011 brought the sheen up to a nice satin.

Used on a fireplace mantle. Came out great. Really liked the color.

I refinished an old mid century dresser of my mom's and wanted a more pale blonde finish with some white to the grain. This worked perfectly! Very happy with the result. See photo. It used to be dark brown.

Using the cherry finish on red oak butcher block countertops and it is amazing. It is easy to work with, I am using sponge method, and it is a beautiful finish.

When first applying this finish, I had trouble getting consistent results on Maple. finally got consistent results with 50/50 mineral spirits/shellac pretreatment. One coat color is stunning with nice grain in relief. My application is not a high stain area. If used in a high stain area, you probably want to top coat with Osmo topcoat or some other hard finish. Dry time can vary from 1 to several days so watch for that.
