Cable prices are flat out ridiculous and I saw these were more reasonably priced than most, so I took a chance and ordered them because I was going to use them in my studio and not for some application where they might fail and cause an issue. When they arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The cable is thick, unwound into a flat straight line which coiled up nicely after. I don't know what the other reviews are talking about claiming the insulation is sticky or tacky, it is not. In fact it is pleasantly not sticky or tacky and unlikely to get tangled badly like some cables. The speakon end snapped in perfectly and I opened up the 1/4 inch ends, which, despite not having the type of strain relief seen on some other cables, look like they will hold up fine if you treat them in a reasonable manner. They do have the wires crimped in a metal strain relief attached to the plug and a piece of plastic insulation tubing to cover the wires inside. When I fired up the PA the sound was excellent. As a musician for over 40 years I can highly recommend these cables with pleasure and ease. Don't hesitate.

Very convenient, works great

I was going to make my own cables, but the price of these is better than I could do on my own. The quality of the speaker cable is superb, and the connections are likewise superb.

The gauge is a little lighter than 12 gauge. But for the price you can't go wrong. For short runs to a cabinet it does the job. If I were doing 25 feet or more. The gauge is too light. 4 out of 5 because the gauge. But the quality is pretty good.
