Product is very good. We like how convenient it is. A bit expensive.

I've been purchasing the Hormel Real Bacon Bits 6oz, 6 pack for a few years. The quality is great with a great Bacon taste. After all it Is Real Bacon, not Bacon flavored Bits. There are 6, 6oz resealable packages in the box which equals 1.5 pounds total weight. I really like the resealable small packages as you aren't opening a big bag that might go stale before you can use it all. These are great to use on salads, in omelets, in graveys or on pizza.

For anyone that is on a clean eating or low carb based lifestyle, these are perfect for adding in extra protein! They are moist and pack great flavor. Not like the ones in grocery stores where you feel like you might have chipped a tooth by eating them because they're so hard, like rocks, and lack flavor. We keep these on our shelves via subscribe and save. Don't want to be without them!

I love to make these stuffed mushroom appetizers but they require bacon. I spend more time frying up the bacon than anything else. I was at my daughter's and she had them and liked them so decided to give them a try. I like them. They're tasty, already cooked and cut up, makes my job a breeze now. I've used them in my cauliflower/broccoli salad too as well as baked beans. I think they're the great for taste and easibility.

First, I love the smokey flavor of these bacon bits. Second, they stay fresh in the fridge after opening. HOWEVER, I didn't see the 'refrigerate after opening' instructions on the first pouch I opened (even though I looked for it!) so I threw out one of the six pouches in this box. Next, once opened, I recommend dipping out the amount you need with a fork or spoon rather than pouring from the pouch. Once closed, if greasy, the pouch becomes hard to reopen since it seals tightly. These are real smoked bacon bits. The taste is great in/on potatoes, steak, salads, eggs, basically anything where bacon is enjoyed. There is sufficient fat from the bacon, not all lean, but mostly lean. I hunt for ways to use this product it is so good. Six pouches for a household of two is a bit much but the size of each pouch keeps the contents fresh. This will be a staple in my kitchen from now on.

I use these bacon bits all the time! Great on a baked potato, add flavor to bean soup, make leftover rice into pork fried rice... you name it!!! I have tried other brands and they have much more fat/less meat than Hormel.

I have purchased this product in the grocery store but I can tell you that when purchasing it from Amazon it was fresher. You can use Hormel Real Bacon Bits in a lot of dishes and it will bring that dish to life. It is real bacon that has been crumbled for easy use and it tastes great! I have used it in stuffed mashed potatoes, mashed potatoes, casseroles and scrambled eggs. You can even eat it right out of the pouch. If you love bacon, you will love this product. I'l like also to note that he price was not bad at all either. I highly recommend. AAA+++

I went on the Keto diet in January 2019. Keto recipes call for lots of bacon. Rather than cook bacon for every recipe that calls for it, I decided to get some bacon bits to sprinkle on things as called for or to enhance the recipe. I was familiar with Hormel brand so it was a no brainer. I ordered a case (6, 6 oz. packets, equivalent to 1.5 lbs uncooked bacon.) It is great, the flavor of bacon without the mess of cooking bacon all the time. It ships so fast too that you don't have to put it on auto reorder. Just order it when you need it and it will show up the next day...or two, at most.
