Q: Can it work as two on/off switches without dc power? someone in q&a said it works without power, and someone else in reviews said it does not.

If you buy this without a power supply the switch will work continuously closed. I recommend that you buy a power supply. I bought it without the power supply and it would not work for me. I wound up using an old power supply that I had and I made the switch work as intended.

Q: Will this footswitch work with roland cube 80xl? i want to use it for the looper function.

I am unsure of dimensions, 4 inches in length and 1 1/2 inches in height. Yes it will fit on your peddle board.
