CW-X Conditioning Wear Men's Pro Shorts

Good fit and great compression, but the entire main front seam is a deal breaker, especially where it meets the inner side seam at the bottom. Seems like a huge design oversight that doesn't have to be that way: I have tights from another manufacturer that splits the main seam into two seams that run up the sides (i.e., around) your crotch instead of straight up the middle with a big ol' bundle of abrasion at the taint. If these shorts did that, I'd buy several pairs and wear these almost exclusively.

Wow! How else to describe them. I purchased a pair at the 2010 Burlington Marathon expo and took them out for a test run. Simply amazing. Perfect compression and comfortable feel. I've run +/- 20 marathons and have long seen people running in either these shorts or pants and figured it was just hype. Was I wrong. After my initial run I came back and ordered a few more pair. Honestly, it made my usual pace effortless and cranked up the speed. Read the reviews regarding the stitching....they seem well constructed - time will tell. The shorts are around $75 - so they're not cheap. But the comfort you will feel while running is simply wow.

I read about how some had trouble with the seam running around the crotch area and figured I'd try these pro compression shorts anyway. Well, I'm here to tell ya the area just south of the family jewels gets easily irritated after as little as 15 minutes of running. I'm sure the shorts would be great if the seam didn't protrude about a quarter of an inch. If you think you can live with this seam, I would highly advise physically inspecting these shorts before buying so you can better understand what I speak of. I'll be going to back to my under armours and sending these pro compression shorts back ASAP!

I bought these for practicing Aikido and I like them a lot. They wick sweat away nicely and have good support. They are expensive but the quality is very high and they seem to last a long time. I've had no problems with seams, fit, or other issues other seem to have.

I have a pair of CW-X thermal tights so I thought a pair of short tights would be perfect. They fit well but the seam in the front was so rough I had blisters on my abdomen when i did my long run (6 mi). I want to love them but spending 10 days with blisters where your underwear elastic sits is not fun.
