Ich verwende die Pinsel für Streichschellack - Geigenlackierung. Dafür stehen die Pinsel seit zwei Wochen ununterbrochen in Spiritus eingetaucht. Kein einziges Haar verloren. Kein Qualitätsverlust. Erstklassige Pinsel meiner Meinung nach.

Bought these before elsewhere. Ideal for applying gesso. I like dry brush technique in minimalist abstraction painting and the big brush is one of my favourites for this. I look after my brushes so they tend to last. They won't forever of course, but they will for a long time if you don't treat them carelessly, like not cleaning them after use and soaking the ferrule & crimp beyond the bristles in water. Something I never do. If I soak a brush it's only to cover the bristles and nothing else and not for too long either. They don't shed in my experience, but if you're heavy handed and really mangle the bristles for some reason i.e. because you're trying to create a particular effect, then I imagine they will shed with that kind of heavy use, but normal usage, I've had no problems in that regard. Excellent value. They're very popular for a reason.

The brush are fantastic! They cut a very clean, straight edge with no effort! They're perfect for painting trim around windows and doors and for edging. They're very flat, so it's easy to see around them when painting the wall edges along the ceiling line. They're soft and so don't leave brushstroke marks. I just used one for painting faux terracotta on an old sculture, too, and it worked out great! I'm back for more!

Not bad but the bristles did fall out when trying to use to varnish. Looking for so.e that hold up.
