These glass straws work best with daiquiry-style glasses, because the shape helps them stay somewhat more secured in one place.. They generally cause some fumbling when used with our pint glasses, as they become somewhat difficult to “aim”. However, these are made very well, with thick glass and a reinforced lip at the top and bottom. The lip does not affect the smoothness of the straw at all. As small as this detail is, we find it assuring - you’ll feel the same as you watch your tipsy guests put a glass tube in their mouths. These are also quite sturdy when being washed... we’ve used the diswasher multiple times on these with no problems.

I am very happy that I purchased these drinking straws. It just makes sense to have something like this The one thing I wish had come with them is something to put them in when carrying them in my purse. Maybe something like a plastic sleeve, made to fit two straws.

Thick and smooth glass. Have worked great so far. Would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't want to have to be buying straws all of the time.
