2lb Guajillo Stemless Chile, Whole Dried Peppers

This chile guajillo is great!,it’s fresh and clean. It’s my go to chiles! My Family loves the flavor.

Honestly, I don’t buy them anywhere else anymore! This is without doubt the best deal on dried chilies. The quantity last me a good while, specially since I don’t use them often but they’re nice to have on hand when needed. Great quality, delicious smokey smell and great taste.

These dried peppers are terrific on all levels. They’re stemless, so most of the seeds are already removed. They’re slightly supple, not dried to a crisp. The flavor is excellent, and they come in a resealable bag instead of those stupid cellophane bags many peppers come in. Oh, and the price is good. I’ll buy these peppers as long as 1400s Spices keeps selling them,

Exactly what I expected, love this stuff for sauces.

The bag contained a generous amount of somewhat dry guajillo peppers. Since I was making chili powder, I gave them another 48 hours in a dehydrator. They easily processed in a Ninja after splitting them and discarding the seeds. The flavor is fantastic as is the color. These could easily be used as a paprika substitute in a pork rub for extra flavor. I've already bought another bag so that should say it all.

They look great. Nice and clean well taken care of in packaging.When I make Chili Colorado they just do not seem to have the flavor of our neighborhood mexican store. Still taste good just not as robust.
