Power up. Power your cordless iON tools the friendly way with the 40-volt EcoSharp iBAT40 lithium-ion battery. Compatible with all Snow Joe and Sun Joe iON models, the iBAT40 features high capacity 4.0 Ah lithium-ion cells that deliver no-fade power for maximum job performance. Simply insert the EcoSharp battery pack into your iON tool of choice and power up instantly without having to mess with gas, oil, pull-cords, or tangled extension cords! Breathe easily and confidently while working with your iBAT40 since this Energy Star-rated battery pack provides for cleaner, emission-free air during operation. Although run-times will vary depending on the tool used and the job performed, up to 50 minutes of whisper-quiet operation is a good approximation of what to expect from your iBAT40-powered tool. The fuel gauge indicator lights on the EcoSharp will also let you easily monitor your battery’s charge capacity while it is in use. When it is time to charge, simply slide the iBAT40 into its dedicated iCHRG40 charger. Just like your cell-phone battery, the iBAT40 has no memory effect, so there is no need to drain the battery or wait for full charge before use. The iBAT40 holds its charge well in storage and will retain up to 65% charge for six months. Easy, convenient, reliable, and super-lightweight (only 2.6 lbs!), the 40-volt EcoSharp iBAT40 is the smart way to battery pack for your power trip.

Hard to rate because....
The SJ snow blower I bought it for was total junk. Battery charged OK, maybe a little too fast, that seemed suspicious --- but I had to return this extra battery and the snow blower (TWICE) because it squealed like a banshee and was determined defective (by the manufacturer) both times.

I asked for delivery at back door - no attempt was made to access the back door.
I watched the carrier run to my driveway from wherever he parked; run up my driveway to my front porch and drop the tiny package as quickly as possible and dart away from the porch. He only slowed down when I shouted "Thank you". He waved and kept running. I can only assume he was trying to stick to a schedule, but he was well within his delivery space. He never looked for a gate to the backyard. There are actually 2 gates. One in the front and one in the back alley. Neither was locked. The battery charged as expected, the lawnmower runs great. I’ve mowed twice, w no reduction in power. I thought I might need a 2nd battery, while the first one charges.

I am able to finish the job with one single charge
So far I have not had any issue and I am able to finish my front and back yard with one charge, it is worth to say that I have a medium gargend size.

Works well
I own two SnoJoe snow throwers. The single-stage, which used only one Ion batter, and the double-stage, which used two Ion batteries (one battery powers the drive"the other battery powers the auger). I found with the single-stage snow thrower I can get all of my plowing done most of the time with the use of a single battery, depending upon how deep/heavy the snow is. With the double-stage snow thrower, the thrower eats through battery power like mice eat cheese. I'm not complaining; I'd rather have several sets of Ion batteries for plowing than have to move the snow via shovel only. I wish the batteries charged a little quicker and lasted longer than they do (for the double-stage thrower), but all-in-all I'm happy with them and plan on investing in a few more (and double chargers) for next winter.

Seems just as good as the original
Winter arrived early this year so I've now gotten several opportunities to try out this new battery in my hybrid Snow Joe snowblower. So far the response is just as good as the original. The new one seems to have similar run times (even in 15 below temps) and recharges at the same rate. It appears to hold a charge just as well as the original. No complaints so far. I'll update if I find that I start losing power with it. I bought it as a backup in case my plow guy broke down and I had to do the entire driveway and turn around with my Snow Joe. This would take awhile but now Ive got the power to handle it. Still better than shoveling.

Garbage
I wont ever buy one again. paid a lot of money for this and totally died after third use in first winter, by that time it was to late for return. it wont hold a charge at all.

It seemed to be working fine.
Battery charges up OK. Fit perfectly into my newly acquired Snow Joe Blower. Machine turned on, but there is no snow to try. As far as the battery is concerned. It seemed to be working fine.

Reliable ...
The battery works well and gives about 40 to 45 minutes use with the Snow Joe 40V Cordless Blower. This is a backup battery. Keep battery in a warm environment when charging.

Phenomenal
Came earlier than expected and is exactly what I needed, the only constructive criticism is that I wish there was tracking, I was worried I’d lose my Christmas gift.
