Great wireless charger for iPhone, Airpods, and Samsung Galaxy users
Wireless chargers are so in right now as they are so convenient and save having to connect and disconnect a wire directly into your phone. This wireless charger from Ravol has a maximum power of 10 watts and is Qi-Certified, perfect for iPhone, Airpods, Samsung Galaxy, and other smartphone devices. It has protection towards over-charging, over-heat and short circuits making it safe and reliable to use. It also has a quiet LED indicator so it won’t be annoying when you are sleeping. When you purchase this item, you will be getting one Qi-Certified charger, one user manual, and one 3.3 feet cable. This is very convenient to use by just placing your phone or earbuds in the centre of the charger and they will start charging instantly.Upon receiving this wireless charger, I fell in love with its appearance. Its surface is white and its pad has a textured grey colour which I really like since it looks clean, minimalist, and versatile. I have tried this with my iPhone and it works well as expected. To be honest, this is my first time using a wireless charger and I observed some pros and cons. For the pros, yes, it is very convenient to use, looks good, and I don’t have cables to tie up once I don’t need them anymore. For the cons, I won’t be able to use my phone as easily whilst charging and it is expensive for a charger, unlike traditional cable chargers. The idea of this being “wireless” is good but technically this wireless charger has a wire too that you need to plug in so that the charger will work. Nonetheless, I think it is a great product and perfect to use when charging your phone overnight. To sum it up, it works well, looks good and is priced reasonably for a charger like this but I personally prefer standard charging cables.

OK for Samsung Galaxy, and iPhone owners, but slow charge for others.
There are times when these wireless chargers might be useful. If you are going on holiday, and don't want to carry your phone charger around, they are a good solution, especially if you have other QI devices like earbuds too. This one is good if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone, because it will charge it at the higher 10W rate. If you have a compatible iPhone, the charge rate falls to 7.5W, and for any other QI compatible phone, or device, that drops to just 5W.I own a couple of Sony phones, and the 5W charge rate takes several hours to charge them fully. The chargers supplied with them take around half that time.Unless you have a lifestyle where you can benefit from a wireless charger, I've always wondered whether there's much point to owning one.I regard these as useful for holidays, and travel, to avoid carrying several different chargers, good if you travel to work by train, and want to plug in to top up your phone battery on the journey, and a cheap solution if you have lost, or broken your phone charger, because it is more economical than buying a new one.If you intend to use it solely at home, and you have a working phone charger already, then I really don't see the point, because plugging this into your USB socket is no different from plugging in your phone charger and it can therefore become just another novelty gadget cluttering up the place. This one works OK, is well made, but as I don't own a Samsung Galaxy, or iPhone, I didn't benefit from it's faster charging. I will use it when I'm away on holiday though, where it will be really useful.

Attractive little charging disc - forbidden coaster
Pleasing texture and finish, and the common sense of USB-C. It would make a lovely drinks mat for hidden charging on a desk, but suspect that's a bad idea! The charging features work well on iPhone 11 and 13, but struggle with airpods in a case - the case has to be positioned exactly right. It's a bit more than rivals but worth it for the material and style. Can't comment on non-iPhone charging but for Apple devices it's a nice little charging pad. Now, it it could be made to generate heat and keep a mug of tea warm as well...

Works as expected
This charging pad comes with a USB cable. Plugging the USB-C end into the charging pad immediatley lit up a small blue light underneath (which you may just about be able to see in the second photo I uploaded). Putting various devices on it (e.g. phones as well as wireless earbuds) activated the charging pad and allowed the devices to charge. The charging pad has so far managed to charge all of our phones without us taking them out of their silicone cases. The one innovation I quite like about this charging pad is that it is covered in a fabric material. Rather than just being hard plastic, the fabric cushions devices just enough not to scratch them. The Ravol charging pad makes no beeps and has no buzz or other sound. The tiny blue LED charging light can also be positioned away from my eye line, so it would not shine in my eyes. So I would be comfortable using it even at night with it on my bedside table and right next to my pillow.Overall, this charging pad is working as expected. The one small point of differentiation from other flat charging pads is that the fabric covered top makes it a bit more tactile and less likely to scratch a phone.

Useful way to charge your iPhone overnight
You need to plug this coaster-like gadget into a USB port, and then you can lay it on the table and simply place your iPhone onto the pad rather than having to plug it in at the base. If you place your iPhone on this at night, it's a good way to make sure it's fully charged each morning. This comes into the same category as the magnetic charging cables: they're fun to use and a bit of a novelty, although not essential. This one comes at an affordable price if you want to see how useful you find it.
