Excellent for omelettes.

Item arrived with a broken hinge so I had to return it. I have had one in the past and liked it, but it did burn after about 4 months of consistent use (about four times a week).

Well I was very happy with my purchase, I put the egg mixture into the Copper appliance, closed the lid, and went into the living room for a few mins, then all of a sudden bang..Egg everywhere, it had exploded all over the kitchen. If I had been there just before and opened the lid, I would of got the egg (Pardon the Pun) full in my face and would of been scalded. No where in the instructions does it warn of this..You need to stand over it, and check constantly so the same thing does not happen. I have got used to the timing now, but just be careful. It makes lovely omelettes, and beautiful fried eggs, but to be honest, I would knock it down to £20.00..You can get other makers much cheaper and will do the same thing.

I have another sandwich maker - but useless compared to this onePerfect for frying an egg and omelette - Love it
