I used this to display my 1/4 scale Elvira resin and base. Both figure and base very heavy, and this rotating display rotates her well. Does have to plug in. It's a large diameter which accommodate the 12in. diameter base. Power switch on side with power led. Comes with a remote as well. Looks good and the rotation smooth. The quality is good.

Works awesome. Used to display a plate compactor at an expo. Did its job!

Good product.

Provides basic functions, simple, not programmable like some other options but also priced less. If I could give 3.5, that’s more accurate. 1 complaint, the remote doesn’t always work, e.g., when I click stop or start, it doesn’t- I have to click one or more times…not always behaves as stated but enough to be annoying :-)

AVOID!! BROKE AFTER 2 DAYS! I waited to write this review in order to give this turntable a fair shake. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the affordable price because it’s built so poorly. I maybe got 2 hours of rotation before it stopped turning or responding. It just sits there with the green light on but the turntable mechanism is completely non functional. A real piece of junk. I’d recommend you look elsewhere!

This is a high quality, durable turntable perfect for display. We created a large Lego-style set that needs to be shown in a full 360º, and keep running in a store window for 8-10 hours a day. So far it's held up well. It came with several color discs but we just used white. Our set doesn't weigh much so I can't attest to much much it holds. The design is simple and devoid of extra details, it doesn't make any sound, and the switch is hidden on the side of the base, giving our display a professional look. Liked it so much we bought a second!

Instead of getting a Xmas tree stand with rotating function, I chose to use this rotating stand instead. Its pretty quiet when in operation, even when switched to the highest speed. There's some motor noise but nothing too loud that disturbs me. In anyway, I only need the slowest speed settling bec the Xmas tree rotation should not be too fast. I used a stick power-bank to connect the Xmas lights and place it on the stand. This way, the rotation does not snag the AC power line. I had to improvise as an original rotating Xmas tree stand would have power plugs design into the stand that is not affected by the rotating motion. I think my idea works pretty well. There has been many bad review of Xmas tree Electric Rotating Stand Base, being noisy, jerky/vibrating at times and the insertion hole does not fit all trees, slanting/leaning trees bec of the movement and hole size don't fit the tree stem securely. Those are the cheaper models. I reckon that this stand will solve the issues bec it does not hold up the tree stem but rather the whole tree base sits on it. Afterall, I can use the rotating stand for my video projects when Xmas season has past. So instead of having the Xmas tree stand left idle for 10 mths, I can make good use of the stand instead. Yes, the stand can take a man's weight and I did tried standing on it with the motor activated. I hope it will last and over time, the motor will not become noisy. If it does, I will update this comment so you will know.
