Neat little (and I mean little) device
I ordered this the week prior to when Hurricane Irma hit, and was hoping it would get here the Friday before the storm as Amazon said; unfortunately it took until the Wednesday after the storm to get it. I imagine that Amazon had way too many orders from people like me, so I won't hold it against them.Anyway, now that I have the item here are my thoughts. First, it is much smaller than I expected. I should have looked at the specs more, but I expected it to be the size of a small briefcase. It's actually smaller and lighter than my computer UPS. So it is definitely easier to carry, but less weight means less power. Not holding that against the device either - just making sure people realize that the unit is small. The specs say that the item's run time is 150 Watt Hours. Pretty good - compare that to 8 D-Cell batteries which is 168 Watt Hours. It appears that this device is pretty much equal to 7 rechargeable D-Cell batteries. Certainly it is more convenient than carrying around the batteries.I ran my 8 D-Cell battery operated fan on this by using one of the AC slots on the item, and it ran the fan for over 16 hours.I did purchase the solar connector and a 100W solar panel and tried to charge the device. Sure enough, it worked the first time I set it up. It didn't completely fill the battery back up in 8 hours, but close enough. So with the extra expense, this device is nice to have for future power outages.I ran it as a UPS on the same fan, and it appeared to work fine. There was some battery usage after 24 hours, but not enough to worry about. SInce this device is supposed to run a CPAP, the UPS only needs to run it for less than 12 hours at a time. Just don't expect to run it constantly like you would run a computer UPS.I used the car charger to charge the battery, and it seemed to work well. Wasn't going to run the car 8 hours to find out if it charged completely, but it obviously did charge the battery some. The light is fine, but doubtful I would use it for that. Other cheaper devices can light up rooms during a power outage. The device has three 12V outlets, and came with a cable that can connect cigarette lighter plugs to the device. It worked to run a couple of my car items. I don't have too many items to use with this, but the outlets work fine. The USB ports charged our tablets and phones at the same time. We have other cheaper devices that can do that, but having other options are good. All in all, it's a neat little (and I mean little) device. Is it worth the money, and is the solar charging worth the extra money? Hard to say. No doubt that I panicked a bit when the storm was coming and bought more than I normally would have. But now that I have it, it is now part of my hurricane and emergency kit. And when the next storm comes, it is one more item that helps give me peace of mind.

Excellent product. Perfect portable CPAP solution.
This battery pack was the perfect solution for a four-day camping trip to run my CPAP machine. I was able to run my CPAP overnight for roughly 6 to 8 hours every night plus charge my phone one night (I have a smaller one I use for that) and a friend's phone that was completely dead, and was still showing one bar of capacity left by the end of the trip. Assuming the indicator is roughly linear (there is no percent left indicator) there was somewhere between 1 and 20 percent capacity left. I used a DC-to-DC converter that converts the 12VDC output of the battery to the 24VDC needed for my specific machine. I didn't run it with the humidifier. You can live without it since it requires far more power than the machine itself. DO NOT just plug the AC adapter into the AC inverter if you want it to last very long. You're wasting at least 30% of the capacity converting from DC to AC then AC back into DC. It will work that way but I'd guess you might get a day, maybe a day and a half out of it doing it that way. Even if I didn't need it for CPAP at night it's still the perfect compromise of available power vs size and cost. I looked at other larger batteries but they're almost twice the weight and almost three times the cost. I'm very happy with this battery. The capacity is as advertised. Don't expect miracles from the AC inverter. It will power anything that pulls under 100W but that's the limit and the internal circuit will limit any current draw beyond that to prevent damaging the battery. I also liked that it didn't come with a million connectors I'll never use or a cheap carry bag I'd end up replacing. You get exactly what you need and nothing more, so you're paying for capacity instead of do-dads. It performs at or above the advertised capacity so I'm very pleased with this and would recommend it to everyone who needs decent capacity for extended periods away from utilities (like camping or hiking). For me this power pack was the perfect compromise for weight and cost.

Cool gadget - Odd Name
Ok, this is a "solar generator" in the same way a deep cycle marine battery is a solar generator. It is a big BATTERY pack. And that is ALL it is.This battery pack gets you two USB ports so you can charge your phone or whatever from it. It also comes with an adapter to drive 12v DC car cigarette lighter stuff. And it does have a very simple, basic, modified sine wave inverter that will let you run SMALL 110v AC loads directly from it. Realistically, 100w is not exactly a huge amount of AC power, but you can run maybe a couple of your regular household lights off of it or something, but you certainly aren't running a coffee maker or a hair dryer or frankly much of anything beyond a few lights with just 100 watts on tap. And since it is modifed sine wave, there are some things, like motors, that won't much like running off it. There is also a basic LED light on the side, which I am sure would last ages given the size of the battery. When it goes flat, you charge it with the included charger from the wall, or from your car, or from the SEPARATELY SOLD solar connectors. So what is this really for? It is an emergency power source that would be very handy to have in an extended power outage. If you lived in an apartment this would be great - it doesn't take up much room - in person it is smaller than what it looks like in the pictures, and provides a fair bit of capacity. It is also something you could take car camping, although it isn't waterproof or particularly burly, so you'd need to be careful with it.Here is what it mainly has going for it: Lots of capacity, relatively small size/weight, and it is completely silent in operation. There isn't even a fan for the inverter. And it is cheap relative to the more expensive versions made by Anker and Goal Zero. It is not quite as polished a product, but, at the end of the day, it works and I like that I didn't spend a fortune on it.
